Wuhan Textile New Version Of Talent Training Program Quietly "Change Face"

Liberate professional elective courses and provide two professional opportunities.
In the principles of the new version of the undergraduate teaching plan, Wuhan Textile University, on the basis of guaranteeing the quality of the basic talents training, constructs a diversified talent training mode of "general education + personalized training" by constructing the evaluation system of "basic standards + personality development".
This model fully respects students' interests, hobbies and specialties, and students can independently plan four years' learning plan.
First of all, the school has released the Elective Curriculum Authority, students can take elective courses in this major, and can also take other compulsory courses and elective courses.
Secondly, students can choose 8 credit literacy courses based on their personal foundations, abilities and interests. The school will construct and manage the humanities quality courses by way of tendering, realize the combination of science and engineering, permeate arts and Sciences, and constantly improve the quality of courses.

In the 08 edition of the teaching plan, the school requires every undergraduate to have 2 innovative credits, and the school establishes a unified standard of recognition.
In the principles of the new version of the teaching plan, the school encourages the two levels of departments to formulate corresponding credit scoring projects, scoring standards and identification methods according to their professional characteristics.
At the same time, students are allowed to replace the equivalent elective credits with innovative credits.
Students with strong creativity can get no professional elective courses if they get enough credits.
This initiative provides more room for free development for students with strong creativity.
Outstanding professional practice ability training
We should intensify the reform of public basic courses and move forward the professional basic courses.
Compared with the 08 edition, the principles of the new training plan of Wuhan Textile University have increased the reform of public basic courses such as political theory, English and sports, and further clarified the teaching contents, methods and requirements of the public basic courses.
The political theory class explicitly requests that we should adapt to the requirements of students, improve teaching methods, and enable students to learn to analyze, think and solve problems with political theory knowledge.
English continues to carry out intensive oral training, set up advanced English classes, and train top-notch talents.
The physical education class persisted for four years without interruption, the first year military training and interest classes, the two grade elementary physical education class, the three grade sports elective class, and the four grade physical education standard test.
Some specialties have added electrotechnics practice, requiring students to use their practice projects and tutors' scientific research projects as the source of graduation thesis (Design) to enhance the effectiveness of graduation thesis (Design).

New basic course content is added to encourage students to take part in the exemption test.
The basic course of Wuhan Textile University has been divided into four categories, namely, mathematical foundation, information base, engineering foundation and chemical foundation. In addition, the information foundation class has increased the application of network technology and programming courses. Different majors can choose different courses according to their professional needs, and the departments and students have greater choice and more pertinence.
At the same time, the school encourages conditional basic courses to implement graded teaching or provide a variety of similar courses for other colleges to choose, encouraging outstanding students to take the exemption examination, more than 80 points free.
