Research Report On The Development Of Hunan'S Textile Industry

Textiles are traditional export products of our province.

In the past 30 years of reform and opening up, especially after the reform and restructuring, structural adjustment and industrial upgrading, our textile industry has developed rapidly, and textile exports have increased steadily.

From 2000 to 2008, the total industrial output value of textile enterprises above Designated Size reached an average annual growth rate of 21.8%, and the overall strength of the industry jumped from twenty-third to fourteenth in the whole country.

At present, there are 7145 enterprises registered in the textile industry of the whole province, with more than 10 industries, such as cotton textile, ramie textile, household textiles, clothing, chemical fiber, industrial textiles and so on.

The province has about 3000000 spindles of cotton spinning spindles, 30 thousand looms, 300 million tonnes of dyeing and printing, more than 90 thousand tons of chemical fiber production, more than 170 thousand spindles of ramie and long linen, and 200 million sets of garment production capacity.

As of November 2009, 488 Textile Enterprises above Designated Size reached 40 billion 800 million yuan in total industrial output value, an increase of 14.73% over the same period last year. The total output value of industrial sales reached 40 billion 130 million yuan, an increase of 15.03% over the same period last year. The main business income was 38 billion 430 million yuan, up 15.95% over the same period last year, ranking fourteenth in the country, higher than the national average level.

In 2009, our province

The top 5 enterprises in our province are listed as follows: Hunan Huasheng Industry and Trade Co., Ltd. exports US $79 million 980 thousand, the export volume of Hunan silk import and export company is USD 62 million 110 thousand, Yiyang Tai Wang textile import and Export Co., Ltd. exports 27 million 150 thousand US dollars, Hunan Taoyuan Jie Xin Textile printing and dyeing Co., Ltd. exports US $18 million 150 thousand, Hunan Asahi five Underwear Co., Ltd. exports 14 million 830 thousand US dollars, there is no enterprise in the whole province that has over 100 million US dollars.

The province's textile industry chain absorbs more than 4 million of all types of employment.

Among them, 700 thousand were directly employed, 2 million of farmers were planted in cotton and hemp, and about 1300000 of the relevant commercial circulation workers, playing an important role in promoting the pfer of rural labor force, easing employment pressure and promoting new urbanization.

In November of 2009, the total profits and taxes of textile enterprises above Designated Size reached 1 billion 580 million yuan, up 18.35% from the same period last year, and the total profit reached 789 million 700 thousand yuan, up 16.07% from the same period last year.

The key enterprises have taken the brand as the driving force for the development of enterprises. 2 famous Chinese brands, such as Yi Xin Tai and Meng Jie, have sprung up. Saint West, forget, pate, Dongxin group, Zhuzhou cedar, Hunan and other special enterprises have created 28 famous brands in Hunan (within the validity period).

After years of structural adjustment and industrial upgrading, our province's textile technology has been continuously upgraded, with 1 state-level and 11 provincial-level technology centers.

The proportion of new textile equipment increased continuously, and the proportion of new textile products such as combed yarn, no knot yarn and shuttle cloth reached 20%, 30% and 20% respectively.

The level of industrial marketization has been further improved, and more than 99% of enterprises have been privatized.

Our province's textile industry has gradually increased its agglomeration degree. It has initially formed 3 industrial clusters, including Changde cotton textile, Yiyang cotton and linen textile, Zhuzhou textile and garment industry, and 8 industrial bases such as Huarong cotton textile and Hanshou ramie textile. Yiyang and Zhuzhou have been named "China's famous hemp industry city" and "China's famous women's trousers city" by the China Textile Industry Association.

Since 2007, a total of 22 enterprises in the province's textile industry have been awarded the "leading enterprises in Hunan province's agricultural products (Textile) deep processing industrialization", forming 1 leading enterprises over 1 billion and 6 over 1, and have 1 listed companies.

For example, ramie textile is represented by Huasheng Group, Yuanjiang star hemp industry and Hanshou Guangyuan hemp industry. The key enterprises in the clothing industry are unforgettable, Saint West, Jin Ying, Yi Xintai, polyte and Shao Feng, etc. the key enterprises in the chemical fiber industry are Xiang Wei, Hunan joint force, Hunan Zhong Te and Rhea high tech, etc. the key enterprises in the home textile industry include Meng Jie home textiles, multi love, Baoli, sari socks, Longyuan, etc. the key enterprises in the textile machinery industry are Changde textile machinery, Shaoyang textile machinery and Hengyang textile machinery, etc. the key enterprises in the industrial textile industry include South Hunan hemp industry, Yuanjiang Xinhai rope net and Huitong new material company. Among them, the cotton textile industry is based on Dongxin group, Yun Jin group, Changsha Yintai and Chang De Yin Yang.

According to the latest ranking released by the China Textile Industry Association, the top ten of the linen textile industry ranked second, and the South China hemp industry ranked seventh. Among them, Huasheng Group ranked first in the ramie industry in China; the overall strength of the dream home textile group ranked first in the domestic textile industry; Dongxin group ranked the top 30 in the national cotton textile industry; the Oriental fashion company and the comprehensive strength of the apparel industry ranked the top 70 in the national apparel industry.

Our textile exports accounted for 0.38% in the past five years, 0.35% in 2006, 1.47% in 2007, 0.28% in 2008, 0.28% in 2009, and only slightly higher than those in Shanxi in the six provinces of central China.
