Based on the purpose of selecting new talent and training professional college students, the national competition has invited the participation of 70 high fashion design institutes and young designers in China. The participants are from 25 provinces and autonomous regions in the country, as well as the Special Administrative Region of Hongkong and Macao. Judging from the entries of this contestant, different contestants have different ideas about the North style dress, and their personality fully embodies their own design concept. The wide use of leather and fur as the main materials and decorative materials is the characteristics of this competition, the mixture of knitted and woven fabrics, the use of grinding, washing, and old techniques to deal with the fabric connotation in the later stage, and to create the retro style of the northern style dress.
Some works using computer printing and dyeing will be suitable for making full use of coated fabrics and knitted fabrics, emphasizing the diversity and visual experience under the same tone, forming a new fashion of mix and match.

The organizers of the competition organizing committee said: the theme of this competition gives designers lots of space to play. Based on the style of "North style dress", it encourages athletes to boldly integrate into their design concepts and fashion elements.
For the first time, North Pratt dress is the theme of the contest. Professor Li DQI said to the contest that the style of "North style dress" was not built overnight. It was a comprehensive product of designing language and techniques combined with the long-term precipitation and integration of northern China's clothing culture. Although most of the contestants in this competition are college students, some excellent works have emerged, and the quality of the players is also quite good.
West Ryu Jin, located in Liaoning Province, is a famous clothing distribution center in Northeast Asia, and also an important production base for women's trousers and cotton clothes. It occupies an important position in the gateway of the distribution center of clothing circulation in the three provinces.
