Yu Bing Was Elected President Of Jiangsu Clothing Association.

Recently, the fifth member congress of the Jiangsu Garment Association and the annual clothing industry annual conference were held in Nanjing.

The conference elected the leading body of the new Jiangsu Clothing Association Council.

Xie Ming, President of Jiangsu Textile Industry Association, vice president of Jiangsu Textile Industry Association and President of the fourth council of Jiangsu clothing association, were appointed honorary president of the fifth Jiangsu clothing association, and Yu Bing was elected president of Jiangsu clothing association.

The conference also commended the "50 strong" sales and total profits of garment industry in Jiangsu Province in 2009.

In the past 5 years, Jiangsu's garment industry has made great achievements from the strategy of "big to strong".

In 2009, the total output of Jiangsu garments was 3 billion 440 million 180 thousand, the total output of woven garments was 2 billion 94 million 300 thousand, and the total output of knitted garments was 1 billion 345 million 800 thousand, which increased by 35%, 40% and 42%, respectively, compared with 2005.

Clothing exports of $14 billion 810 million, an increase of 36% over 2005, the total industry profit of 8 billion 18 million 600 thousand yuan, an increase of 70% over 2005.

The main products are Western-style clothes, suits, down garments and children's garments, ranking the first in China.
