As of January 1, 2012, leather enterprises with production scale of 100 thousand mark / year shall be closed down and eliminated. According to Xu Qingsi, director of Anhai Kemu tannery Council, there are 63 enterprises in the Moji control area, of which only 5 enterprises have reached 300 thousand mark / year.
