Finance Bureau Issued: Xinjiang Cotton Yarn Pport Costs Subsidies Thousand Yuan

In September 6th, the reporter learned from the Finance Bureau of Xinjiang Bayinguoleng Mongolia Autonomous Prefecture that the Finance Department of the autonomous region has allocated 2009 yuan for the export of Xinjiang cotton yarn in Bazhou for 10 million 172 thousand and 700 yuan, involving 8 cotton textile enterprises across the state.

In order to solve the high cost of producing cotton yarn in the Xinjiang cotton textile enterprise, we should promote quality in the whole region.

The Interim Regulations on subsidy management promulgated by the central government clearly indicate that the "Xinjiang cotton yarn" refers to the cotton yarn which is produced and sold to the mainland with Xinjiang real estate cotton as raw material and meets the requirements of the Xinjiang cotton yarn. The central government will grant a subsidy of 400 yuan per ton.

The implementation period of the cost subsidy policy for Xinjiang cotton yarn pportation is tentatively scheduled for 2008 to 2010. Subsidies are calculated according to the natural year.

In Xinjiang, the independent accounting cotton textile enterprises (including the corps cotton textile enterprises) can enjoy the financial subsidy policy in the industrial and commercial registration, paying taxes according to law, and producing and selling cotton yarns in Xinjiang real estate cotton as raw materials.
