I like "propositional composition", the original theme, the Egyptian theme, the Aztec theme.

I don't want to do only some sparkling props. I hope every dress can tell a story.

My most famous design is also my favorite. It's Elvis's conjoined jacket at the Hello Hawaii concert in 1973.

Because this concert will be broadcast all over the world, he wants a dress that embodies patriotism.

Although I have worked for Elvis for 10 years, I have designed many of his most famous costumes, but I never met him.

When I started designing clothes for him, he was already very red and surrounded by people. These people were afraid that their positions would be replaced, and they did not want more people to contact Elvis Presley.

If I had such a chance, I would have persuaded Elvis to dismiss his tailor because the tailor had made his trousers too short.

But I always get the feedback from ELVIS - "he likes the last set of clothes, can you do 5 more different colors?" - this way of communication has its drawbacks.

I remember a time when I was making a series of clothes for Elvis, inspired by countless things, Elvis and so on. I asked him through his assistant's assistant's assistant if I could show him some sample clothes first.

I was working on a grassy theme suit, with vines, pythons, elephants, and so on. I gave him a sample of a zebra head. The feedback was: "Elvis likes this dress, but he wants to know why you made the bird's feet so small."

I didn't know what they were talking about until I found out that if you look at the zebra head, it looks like a bird.

What can I do? This is Elvis Presley.

So I tried to widen the zebra's nose, turn its foot into ears, revise its shape, and turn zebra into a Phoenix.

Soon after, I heard the feedback again: "Elvis likes these clothes. Can you make five more different colors?"

I've been designing a conjoined shirt for Elvis, until he quit the stage due to health problems.

As far as I know, he has never rejected any clothes I have designed, and he has worn them all.

Since then, I have been working with Siegfried and Roy magician two person group, DollyParton, Diana Ross and many other stars, and have been making classic Elvis conjoined dress until today.

I am very proud of my experience with Elvis, because I once influenced the style of Elvis, and the costume I designed became his mark.

I don't mind the fact that I have never met him, because we have been communicating through the clothes I have designed.

Having said that, if you can shake hands with him once in a while, it will be no regrets for this life.
