According to Shaoxing customs statistics, from 1 to August this year, Shaoxing's textile and clothing exports amounted to US $9 billion 60 million, an increase of 35.8% over the same period last year.

From the point of view of export destinations, the European Union, the United States and ASEAN are still the main markets for textiles and clothing in Shaoxing.

The export growth of Shaoxing's clothing and textiles has benefited from the obvious recovery of the external demand market.
According to past data, July is the peak of export in that year, so seasonal factors are one of the important reasons for the sharp decline of exports in August.
Shaoxing customs analysis also pointed out that in August this year, the export value fell significantly, and the price of raw materials continued to rise is also a major reason.
In addition, the competitiveness of textiles in neighboring countries is rising.
