As a world-famous exporter of cheap clothing, Taiwan is now striving to find opportunities in the Chinese mainland market and find a place in the Asian fashion arena.
Although the ability of some Taiwan designers has been recognized by the international fashion circle, the Taiwan government thinks there are few designers who really grow up in Taiwan.
But this situation may change soon. Taiwan signed with mainland China in June.

The mainland is the largest market in Taiwan, accounting for 22% of total exports in 2009.
