Recently, reporters in Jiujiang inspection and quarantine department was informed that the first three quarters of this year, Jiujiang has accumulated foreign trade law inspection.

Commodity import and export

381 million 720 thousand US dollars, an increase of 53.67% over the same period last year.

In the first three quarters of this year, the export volume of our city increased by 2.6 times compared with that of the previous year, of which 43 million 930 thousand were chemical products, an increase of 255.71% over the same period last year.

Textiles and clothing

The product was US $76 million 780 thousand, an increase of 51.02% over the same period last year. The export of electromechanical products was US $23 million 680 thousand, an increase of 44.04% compared with the same period last year. The export of labour intensive products such as footwear and wood products maintained a rapid growth, up 132.12% and 55.47% respectively over the same period last year.

Exports to Asia account for 88 million 440 thousand US dollars, which accounts for 39.43% of total exports, and exports to Africa 65 million 250 thousand US dollars, accounting for 29.09% of total exports, of which three of the top three countries are Benin, Japan and the United States.

The rapid growth of the export of chemical products has benefited from the continuous increase of our city in recent years.
