Henan Signed 43 Textile Projects &Nbsp, With A Total Investment Of 10 Billion 700 Million Yuan.

The forum is highly consistent with the provincial and foreign views: Henan is a major cotton producing province and a major textile province.

Henan has been an important textile industry base and a large cotton growing province in China. The cotton planting area is 1/10 of the whole country, and its output accounts for 8% of the total cotton output in the country. The cotton yarn output in our province accounts for 14.2% of the total output of the country, ranking the first in Central China, and the cloth output in our province accounts for 4.36% of the total output of the country.

At the same time, our province is also an important base for the production of hemp, silk and wool in China.

Moreover, the textile industry is Henan's traditional dominant industries and important livelihood industries. It is one of the 5 strategic supporting industries identified by the provincial government.

In order to speed up the development of the textile industry, Henan province has promulgated the "Henan textile industry adjustment and revitalization plan", and proposed to continuously increase support for the textile industry.

China clothing association also identified Henan as a pilot area for garment industry pfer in the central and western regions.

In September last year, the provincial government and the China Textile Industry Association held the signing ceremony of "Henan province to undertake the textile and clothing toys industry pfer conference and cooperation project" in Zhengzhou. 102 contracts were signed, and the contract introduced 17 billion 100 million yuan to the provincial and overseas funds. As at the end of June 2010, the pfer of the textile industry in our province has already signed 417 projects, with a total investment of 114 billion 500 million yuan, and the contract has introduced 91 billion 100 million yuan of funds from outside the province.
