Classification Of Shipping Routes

1. according to the mode of operation of ships

(1) a regular route refers to the operation of a fixed cargo ship at a fixed sailing date and port and operating at a relatively fixed freight rate.

Regular routes are also known as liner routes, which are mainly loaded with mixed goods.

(2) irregular routes are temporary routes selected according to the needs of freight pport.

Ships, ships and ports are not fixed. They are mainly operated by large and low-priced goods.
