In November 28th, the reporter learned from the Taiyuan customs that in the first 10 months of this year, the total export of stainless steel plates, coke, coal and magnesium was 1 billion 622 million US dollars, an increase of 172.5% over the same period of 595 million last year, and the proportion of total export value increased from 42.9% in the same period last year to 42.9%.

Among them, the export of stainless steel sheet is US $605 million, which exceeds the export volume of coke products of traditional resource products, and has become the largest export commodity of our province.

The export of coal and magnesium also reached 259 million US dollars and 226 million US dollars respectively.

According to customs data, from January to October this year, our province exported 2 billion 159 million US dollars, including coke, coal and magnesium, and other four commodities, an increase of 26.9% from 1 billion 702 million US dollars in the same period last year, accounting for 79.3% of US $2 billion 722 million in the same period of 2008, which is close to the level before the financial crisis.

Not only that, our province's import of electromechanical products and high-tech products is increasing exponentially.

From January to October, the import and export of mechanical and electrical products in the Province amounted to 1 billion 570 million US dollars, an increase of 132%, accounting for 24.6% of the total import value, an increase of 9.2 percentage points compared to the same period last year; the import of high-tech products increased by 513 million US dollars, an increase of 193.8%; and the import of agricultural products was 9 million 50 thousand US dollars, an increase of 101%.

According to the relevant officials of Taiyuan customs, from the perspective of foreign trade, due to the influence of policies restricted by the state to restrict the export of resource products, the recovery growth of our province's foreign trade is still relatively fragile.
