There are 18761 textile enterprises in the region, 1143 of which are "self-employed", and the remaining 17618 enterprises have 79477 employees, with an average of 4.24 employees per employee, 9719 of whom employ 1 people, 6596 of 2-9 employees, and 10-49 of 10-49 employees.

Only 6 people employ more than 500 people.

The extensive development mode has not yet been fundamentally changed, and the characteristics of some clusters in the initial stage are quite obvious.

Many small and medium-sized enterprises are faced with many difficulties in technology, talent, capital, management, marketing and so on. The degree of public service platform and government support are different from each other. Not only do enterprises have extensive performance, but also administrative and intermediary services also exist extensive work.

However, economic adjustment has begun to go on the track of scientific development. Almost all the clusters have made development plans according to the adjustment and revitalization plan of textile industry and the actual development of local regional economy.

The clusters are not only more conscious of their development on the basis of scientific and technological progress, brand cultivation and public services, but also regard energy conservation, emission reduction and environmental governance as important goals for development.

Many early development industrial clusters, through the construction of new industrial parks, regulate enterprises and markets, and promote scientific development.

A large number of new pilot clusters have absorbed the experience of advanced clusters from the very beginning and implemented the requirements of scientific development.

China Textile Industry Association attaches great importance to industrial clusters for a long time.

Since 2002, the China Textile Industry Association has taken the development of textile industry cluster as a strategic task in upgrading the textile industry.

In 2004, the Xiqiao textile industry cluster of Foshan City, Guangdong province held the national textile industry cluster industrial upgrading on-site exchange meeting, and asked the pilot group to follow the new industrialization road, promote industrial upgrading, promote the construction of cluster innovation public service platform, advocate cultivating regional brand of cluster, strengthen industry self-discipline and social responsibility construction.

In 2007, the China Textile Industry Association released the first report on the development of China's textile industry cluster. It systematically introduced the general situation of the economic development of the national textile industrial cluster, the background and driving force of the formation of the cluster, the status, role, advantages and problems of the industrial cluster. At the same time, it also put forward a lot of Guiding Opinions on how the cluster economy embarked on the new industrialization road.

Recently, the China Textile Industry Association held a national textile industrial cluster working conference, and again released the "China Textile Industrial Cluster Development Report", and signed the "12th Five-Year" period with 175 industrial clusters nationwide.

The major goal of China's textile industry in the "12th Five-Year" cluster pilot work, Du Yuzhou said, is that the Central Committee's request for "12th Five-Year" planning proposal "must adhere to a broader vision, calm observation and calm response, coordinate the two major domestic and international situations, grasp the new position in the division of labor in the global economy, and actively create new advantages in international economic cooperation and competition".
