    This year, 162 counties and some townships (streets) in the country have carried out pilot projects for grass-roots employment and social security service facilities construction, and the ability of urban and rural public employment services has been further strengthened.


    The report shows that the Ministry of human resources and social security issued a notice on Further Strengthening the supervision of human resources market, further clearing up employment discrimination policy, improving the employment environment, and ensuring equal employment opportunities for migrant workers and urban residents.


    According to the National Bureau of statistics monitoring survey, at the end of the two quarter of this year, the total number of rural migrant labor force was 1.57 billion, an increase of 4.2% over the same period last year.


    29 provinces adjust the minimum wage standard this year


    Since the beginning of this year, 29 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) have adjusted the minimum wage standard, with an average increase of 24.1%.

    According to monitoring by the National Bureau of statistics, the average monthly income of migrant workers in the two quarter of this year was 1596 yuan, an increase of 13.7% over the same period last year.


    The report shows that in the first quarter of this year, the whole country handled 52 thousand cases of migrant workers' labor remuneration disputes, involving 77 thousand migrant workers, and the sum of 770 million yuan involved in the cases. From June to July, there were fourth illegal actions to crack down on illegal activities in the whole country, and 94 thousand and 400 cases of illegal cases were investigated, and 158 thousand and 700 yuan was reissued for wages and economic compensation 264 million yuan.


    Explore more to help migrant workers settle in cities and towns


    At present, the Ministry of public security is carrying out in-depth research and demonstration with relevant departments on further issues related to the reform of household registration management system.


    The report points out that since the beginning of this year, all localities have actively explored the reform of household registration management system and made new progress in promoting the settlement of migrant workers in the employment area.

    In June, Guangdong Province issued the guiding opinions on the work of integrating peasant workers into cities and towns. In July, Chongqing issued a pilot plan to reform the household registration system in urban and rural areas and reform the pfer of rural residents.

    Shanghai, Chongqing, Chengdu, Shenzhen and other places to explore the implementation of the residence permit system, where the residence permit holders of the floating population, in job hunting, social insurance, children receive compulsory education and other aspects of the same treatment with the local public.
