According to the data provided by the Sichuan Provincial Department of Commerce, the export volume of Sichuan's textile and garment industry reached US $2 billion 620 million in the month of January ~11, representing an increase of 69% over the same period last year. Of them, clothing exports were US $1 billion 760 million, an increase of 65.6% over the same period last year.

Yang Chunxuan, Secretary of the Sichuan Provincial Department of Commerce, said that Germany, Azerbaijan, Panama and other countries had the most prominent growth in Sichuan's clothing export this year.

But he stressed that, in general, Sichuan garment production is small in scale and insufficient in supporting capacity, and few enterprises can enter the international market and compete with peers.

Next year, the Sichuan provincial chamber of Commerce will set up an e-commerce platform to help Sichuan enterprises go out.
