Henan Xiangcheng Leather Industry Is Booming

Since the beginning of this year, the municipal Party committee and the municipal government of Xiangcheng have put investment and project construction in the first place. They have promulgated the opinions of the Xiangcheng Municipal People's Government on accelerating the development of the industrial agglomeration area, and the opinions of Xiangcheng Municipal People's Government on strengthening investment promotion.

The industrial agglomeration area of the city has invested more than 3800 yuan, and 9 new roads have been repaired. The greening, lighting and sidewalk hardening have basically been put in place to enhance the quality of the gathering area.

The first phase of the industrial cluster area service center is expected to total investment of 60 million yuan, with a construction area of 60 thousand square meters. Construction has been started in October and is expected to be completed in May next year.

At present, the development base and system framework of the industrial agglomeration area have basically taken shape.

Zou Hong, mayor of Xiangcheng, told reporters: "this year is the largest, fastest growing and best performing year of Xiangcheng industrial cluster."

In the industrial gathering area of the city, with the leading giant lotus flavor in the domestic food industry as the leader, the cluster development of 32 large scale food enterprises, such as Tianan sugar, flavor amino acids, lotus flavoring, etc., has been promoted. With the Zhoukou pharmaceutical rising star Henan Shuzhong pharmaceutical as the leader, the cluster development of 5 large scale pharmaceutical enterprises such as blue sky pharmaceutical and Shuai Ke pharmaceutical has been promoted. With the Xiangcheng textile as the leader of the best textile industry in the whole city, the cluster of 28 large scale textile and garment enterprises, such as Peng Chen clothing and Song Xin clothing, has been promoted. The Huafeng International Leather City, a leading domestic production technology, has led the cluster development of 30 leather processing enterprises such as sinde leather and Boao leather.

At present, the industrial agglomeration area of Xiangcheng has formed a gratifying situation of food and medicine as the leading industry, clothing and leather as auxiliary industries.

It is understood that 15 new projects have been put into operation since the beginning of this year, 2 projects have been put into operation, and 13 projects under construction, with a total investment of 1 billion 75 million yuan, with a sales income of 2 billion 290 million yuan, 82 million 560 thousand yuan of tax revenue and 19 thousand and 200 employees.

Why do the leading enterprises in these industries enter the urban industrial agglomeration area? Xiangcheng set up a sense of choosing business, highlighting a "election" word, recruiting large projects, good projects, attracting tax revenue and high technology content projects, and investing more than 50 million yuan in projects can only be supplied separately in the industrial agglomeration area.
