Reflection On A University Graduate (Two)

    2011/1/6 14:15:00 71

Wuhan University Graduates' Traditional Culture Education

    University

Leaders do not care about knowledge.

They don't care about teachers, they just regard teachers as migrant workers.

They also do not care about students, ignoring students' wishes and demands.

Many leaders of college students are in front of their students and look like an official.

They don't care about themselves either.

    Graduate

In the end, they are not welcome by society. They do not care whether the design of disciplines is in line with the requirements of education and society.

They are concerned only with "how to keep their place", "how to get benefits", how to "trade diploma", and how to "trade" with officials in society.

    The school teacher told me:

    WuHan University

The title of "special professor" has been awarded to many officials, and they have been sent to a large number of "doctoral degrees" to officials at all levels, just because they have real power "officials", and schools are willing to "prove" that they are "very knowledgeable" so that they can get a "knowledge capital".

    These are all public secrets.

As we all know, a few months ago, two leaders of Wuhan University were arrested. One of them was the "outstanding leader" who won the "national honor" award. This exposed the tip of the iceberg of a series of University problems. After the accident, many university leaders with real power were all in a state of anxiety, for fear that one day they would find their heads up.

I believe this is not a matter of Wuhan University, and maybe other universities are more corrupt.

However, what I care about is: what does this mean? Is there really a "university spirit" in such a university? Is it really a place for me to do knowledge?

    1. do I lack money? Is our society short of money? Does my life need to do something that no one needs?

Now in our country, everyone is working hard to create material wealth. Every city can see a lot of busy people, everyone is working hard to chase.

Especially when I work in Shenzhen, this fast-paced city is a money driven city.

Every time when I take a bus, I will pay attention to those people waiting for cars and people walking through the streets. Many people's faces are written with anxiety and exhaustion.

Everyone is pursuing money to think that it will bring happiness, but why are they so unhappy? People who look out of the car ask myself: will I one day be like them? I ask myself what happiness is pursued. It is more material wealth. No, I think happiness for me is a healthy body, a happy and valuable job and a guarantee of material life and a harmonious family.

And can this happy circle do its best to promote, then can my industrial dream bring happiness and more happiness to people?

Let's take a look at our country, thirty years of reform and opening up. China has already produced many enterprises, such as HUAWEI, Lenovo and so on. People have already accumulated a lot of material wealth, and their material life is becoming more and more superior.

Question: the development of industry has brought about a lot of environmental pollution and the physiological and mental health of white-collar workers in metropolis. Under the circumstances, more and more urban women white-collar workers can not enter the marriage hall. More and more college graduates are unable to find jobs. The urban people are mentally deficient in the appearance of material wealth. They spend time with bars, online games, meals and so on. The ratio of suicide among young children and college students is increasing, and popular culture is becoming vulgar and even vulgar. Why do I have such problems? How to solve them? How can we solve these problems by pursuing money? But these problems are very much related to the happiness of everyone and the happiness of our society. But we are increasingly working together to pursue money. We have created a very high GDP, but at the same time, we are facing more and more society.

But all this can not be solved by money. It depends on culture and wisdom.

If money can be solved, we can buy physical and mental health with money, buy family harmony and happiness, and buy excellent culture. Of course, I should make more money.

Unfortunately, none of them can be bought.

    2. why do we say that China lacks real education?

By culture, by wisdom, talent can be happy, and the country will be truly strong.

Why do we have to go to education? The answer is that only education can fundamentally change the quality of a country, and our current China lacks real education. Why do we say so? We can understand the current state of education and society and the faulting of our traditional culture.

Our primary, secondary and even university education is teaching students to keep exams and pay attention to test scores. However, having done so many tests and taking so many tests, and taking a bachelor's degree, master's degree and doctorate degree, can solve the problem of life and happiness? Look at the current university student's appearance, how many people are just mixing a diploma, and deceive themselves, thinking that this diploma will bring a good job and money to myself. Is that possible?

Do we have to become a "moonlight clan" after work? We eventually have to go to society. We eventually have to face life and survival independently. We end up having to be parents. We eventually have to support our parents, which are really related to our happiness, such as how to strengthen our health, how to plan our life direction, how to deal with marital problems and how to educate children. Do our education pay attention to or inspire us to think about these problems? Is our education to train a group of examination machines in schools, and then come out to become a working machine? Why do many students who pass the College entrance examination lose their vigor and vitality when they enter the university? Why do they indulge in online games and spend their most precious years in boredom? Why are so many people looking for it?

So what is real education? The German education manifesto two hundred years ago once said: the purpose of education is not to train people to adapt to the traditional world, not to focus on practical knowledge and skills, but to awaken the power of students, cultivate their self-learning initiative, abstract induction and understanding so as to enable them to make meaningful choices in the various future situations that they can not predict at present.

Education is the highest goal of human beings, and receiving education is the embodiment of the highest value of human beings.

And is there such education in the university campus? No, China is too short of real education and real universities. At the same time, we turn back to see how the Chinese traditional intellectuals did it. Zhang Zai, a great scholar of the Song Dynasty, once said: "to be dedicated to heaven and earth, to make a living for the people, to go to the holy place to be a scholar, to open peace for all ages!" since then, this sentence has become the consensus of Chinese intellectuals. Now, how many scholars are there in our society? How many professors and guides do we have in our university? We can see the so-called "experts" who speak for various interest groups, and can see professors and guides for money in officialdom and shopping malls. Ask my dear friends, in China's current primary and secondary schools.

Nowadays, many people in our society are always pursuing money as the highest goal in life. From the real estate developers who hate us to the present hospitals, many people forget their own professional ethics and sell money blindly.

The rich who lack culture and responsibility have brought higher and higher paction costs and more harm to our society.

Did we know that the wages of American cleaners can reach fifty thousand or sixty thousand of their annual salary, but their houses only need about three hundred thousand dollars? But our domestic people need to spend two or even three generations of their savings to buy a house, because some people are unconscionable to grab high profits, so that how many college graduates will face this serious life event after graduation. Is the house really worth so much money? Meng Zi once told us: "go up to the next to make a profit, the country is in danger."

The fact that Sanlu milk powder and children's blood lead all over the place have been used for blood has been constantly corroborated by this sentence. How many examples do our society need to wake up: if we forget morals and conscience only for money, where will our society go?

In such a profit driven society, how many Chinese people will calm down to learn and inherit our traditional culture of great spirit? Laozi, Analects of Confucius, University, Diamond Sutra, Zi Zhi Tong Jian and so on. Do we inherit these classic heritage? How should we give these things to our next generation? If we can't give them to us, if we can't finish the inheritance of Chinese culture in 5000 years, why do we have the face to claim to be Chinese?

It has been said in a sentence that a nation that breaks down and exists in culture can certainly restore the state (for example, Israel), but a nation with cultural ruin has disappeared completely from the stage of history, such as ancient Babylon.

It is precisely because the essence of traditional culture is lost that our society becomes more and more strange.

The lack of real education in schools has led to many people's blind pursuit of profits, spiritual emptiness and various social problems. The essence of traditional culture has been lost. The latter two have in turn influenced the education of schools. Where are these vicious cycles taking us? What kind of society will our offspring live in?

    Is this society heading for a dangerous situation crazily, or am I a madman who is alarmist? {page_break}

    3. education for the rise of China

In view of this situation, I have deep doubts about my idea of doing business. I am deeply concerned about the survival and development of this society.

More than 100 years ago, Mr. Liang Qichao wrote the "Youth China". After more than 100 years, we are still facing the same problem and more serious.

    Only from

    education

With the development of good and conscientious citizens and social leaders, we can hope to change the ugly side of our society so that we can inherit our culture, and our children and grandchildren will live happily and happily on this land. Then we can be proud to say, "I am a Chinese!"

So I decided to go to Dashan and go to a small private school to be an ordinary teacher.

    Traditional culture

Practicing martial arts and cultivating wisdom

For the country I love, for the children and future of China, and for myself, to do something really valuable, because only culture can build a country, only real education can make people wise. Only wisdom can let a person have true happiness, let a society really harmonious, make a country really strong!

Note: I didn't expect the article to receive the attention of so many people. Here it is explained that because of the failure of education in the system, I can not join any government run exam oriented school to realize my ideal of real education. Instead, I chose this private elite school in the mountains (not to misunderstand, not to support the rural areas, so that I would work harder to train several junior wage earners for the system) and not to mention the names of the school names, because it was to avoid anyone who said I was a commercial speculation (after all, private), which had stained this sacred educational ideal.

At the same time, due to the advanced educational concept, although this school is not large, its influence has spread throughout the country. She will become an example of China's advanced education in the future, so I do not want to borrow fame to make the school famous.

I am more willing to contribute my own strength and make the school more glorious instead of the contrary because of my steadfast efforts.

    I hope you will understand.

Besides, I started my new job for only two months.

Here, for the first time, I felt the feeling of "frustration". Compared with my consistent "downwind", I obviously felt inadequate in my ability and shallow in thought.

Compared with working together, I feel a real difference with my colleagues and friends who graduated in the same year. I need more efforts to improve and improve myself.

But it made me happier and more convinced that I had made the right choice: This is a place where I can constantly improve. This is a place where I can achieve my dream, to realize my dream of a powerful educational country - to constantly improve myself and people who need my help.

There are two purposes for writing this article:

1., we can wake up some sleeping people in university to think about their lives instead of going with the flow and parting with others.

    2. cause more people to pay attention to and reflect on education, because it is related to the happiness of every one of us.

We can not let the teachers, universities and society take responsibility for us irresponsibly. On the contrary, because schools and society are not responsible for us, we should take more responsibility for ourselves, and also seriously consider and choose our own life.

If you can achieve both, that's enough. Thank you.
