Some of the garment bases planned for a variety of reasons can not form scale effect.
On the one hand, a large number of garment enterprises can not find suitable sites. On the other hand, some planning clothing parks can not attract enterprises to enter, forming a vicious circle.

"Landing" is difficult. Wang Xiumo, an expert in the Institute of business and economics of the Chongqing Academy of Social Sciences, suggests that the best way to solve the problem is to build factories in a collective way.
Wang Yong, vice president of the Chongqing Fashion Association, also said that the Chongqing Chongqing garment factory now needs 5~10 mu of land, 5000 square meters of factory buildings, and staff quarters, activity rooms, design rooms, accessories rooms, canteens, offices, etc., if the 300 major brands and 5 mu of each household are calculated, the construction of the factory needs at least 1500 mu.

Deng Yi sighed that, due to various historical reasons, Chongqing's clothing industry is at a low level of competition.

Chongqing Daxing children's products company Zhang general manager told reporters that Chongqing clothing has not formed a complete industrial chain.
"My clothes are made in Chongqing, zippers are shipped from Yiwu, and fabrics come from Guangdong."
Zhang said, for example, a zipper can only be sold for a few cents in Yiwu, and it is necessary to pay a freight to Chongqing.
Actually, it is not the freight but the time that makes her headache.
Garment production has always been a race against time. Every season, when new products can be hung up to consumers in the first place, who will occupy the "commanding heights" of the trend.
Tang Juncai, executive vice president of Chongqing Garment Association, thinks that the garments designed by Chongqing now do not lose to the coast from style, but there is a big gap in matching.
In Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces, there are many supporting enterprises. If the branding company has a request, they need to make special buttons, communicate on QQ, pass the pattern through the network, and after the production is finished, it will be delivered to the workshop in one or two hours.
But production of garments in Chongqing will take several days unless air freight is provided.
Not long ago, led by Chongqing Confucian clothing company, five Chongqing clothing enterprises formally signed the alliance constitution.

Therefore, no matter from scale or brand, it can not compete with the coastal counterparts such as Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Guangdong.

A large number of skilled workers who once returned home during the financial crisis have recently started to run away, which makes many Chongqing garment enterprises that lack of skilled workers suffer from "cold current" again.
Liu Yang, who runs a garment factory in Yubei District, told reporters that last year, many skilled workers from the coast returned to Chongqing were recruited in the factory. The factory also took the opportunity to expand the scale of production, and received many large lists. However, since last December, many skilled workers have resigned, and there were originally forty or fifty workers in the lathe assembly line. Only 20 people are supporting them now.
Liu Yang said, "the piecework wage of workers has risen from 10 yuan to 12 yuan, and the complexity of the process has even risen to 14 yuan, but it still can not attract people."
In the industrial park of Banan, Chongqing, the manager of Human Resources Department of a garment enterprise, Yang said, in order to recruit people and retain the existing employees, the monthly salary for technicians is now between 2300 yuan and 4500 yuan, providing free dormitories, 4~6 rooms, air conditioners, washing machines and so on.
"We still have year-end awards, with a month's salary.
In addition, the year-end bonus is 360 yuan a year.
In the factory there are many old employees who work for more than ten years. The year-end bonus plus wages can fetch about 10 thousand yuan.
But even with such favourable conditions, the clothing factory still lacks skilled workers.
Liu Yang acknowledges that "migratory birds" fly south again. There is indeed the reason why the development of the mainland garment industry is not as good as the coastal areas. Besides, "now forty or fifty year old skilled workers are ready to retire, but few people after 90 are willing to be operators."
"Relative to the coastal area, the biggest short board of Chongqing enterprises is not in low salaries but in management."
Wang Xiumo said, Chongqing SMEs often do not have long-term development strategy, it is difficult for employees to see the long-term prospects of working here, from coastal areas, "have seen the world" workers feel "acclimatized", is also reasonable.
