High inflation, trade wars and risk of exchange rate wars and soaring food prices will become hot topics.

World Economic Forum President Schwab (Klaus Schwab) recently said that since the outbreak of the global financial crisis and economic crisis in 2008, the world economic pattern has undergone major changes.

The problems of the current economic governance system exposed in the crisis, the painful lessons, and the new phenomena and trends emerging in the economic field call for the birth of the new global economic governance system.

"The world is fundamentally changing," Schwab said. "The most important factor in these fundamental changes is that geopolitical power and geo economic power are shifting from developed countries to developing countries and from the west to the east at the same time.

This will not only affect politics and economy, but the whole world will undergo a surprising change. "

"The common norms under the new situation" is the theme of this year's forum. It reflects one of the most important concerns of many leaders today, namely, the loss of common values and principles in an increasingly complex and interconnected world.

Under this theme, there are four sub topics, namely, coping with the new situation, economic prospects and formulating inclusive growth policies, supporting the action plan of the group of twenty (G20) and establishing a global risk response mechanism.

Politics is one of the topics that can not be ignored in the Davos forum.

The five major political themes of the Davos conference this year may be: the future of the European Union, the tension between the United States and China, the new food price crisis that threatens the stability of the poor countries, the global governance from the United Nations to the twenty national assembly, and the regional crisis from the North Korea to the Middle East, Rachman (Gideon Rachman) wrote.

During the conference, more than 2500 people from more than 100 countries will gather in Davos, including about 30 heads of state and government, 100 ministers, hundreds of business leaders and famous scholars.

Russian President Medvedev will deliver a special speech at the opening ceremony. German Chancellor Merkel will give a speech on the European economic prospects. French President Sarkozy is also the head of the group of twenty presidents of Davos.

China is a hot topic of concern in Davos in recent years. This year, on behalf of the Chinese government, Chen Deming, Minister of Commerce, attended the meeting.

It is noteworthy that this year is China's 10th anniversary member of the World Trade Organization (WTO). A symposium on "ten years of China's accession to the WTO" will be held during the Davos conference in January 27th. Chen Deming will make relevant reports.

WTO director general Rami (Pascal Lamy) will attend the meeting.

The US delegation will be led by finance minister Geithner (Tim Geithner) and the new house majority leader Kanter (Eric Cantor) will also be traveling together.

Former finance minister Summers (Larry Summers) will also be present in the economic debate.

The political leaders of Mexico, Thailand and Indonesia will attend in person.

Japanese Prime Minister Naoto Kan (Naoto Kan) will be the highest ranking Asian leader in this forum.

Ministers from several major economies such as China, the United States, Japan, India, the European Union, Australia and Brazil will hold special meetings to promote the early outcome of the Doha Round negotiations, which have been in stalemate for 10 years.

In recent years, some of the world's top bankers who have been absent from the forum have been resurgent due to their busy handling of the financial crisis.

The Financial Times reported that Morgan Dimon, chief executive of JPMorgan, and Grbel Gr (UBS BEL), chief executive of, will return to the forum.

Citigroup (Citigroup) will be represented by a number of top executives, Vikram Pandit, and its rival, HSBC, will also send new chairman Fan Zhilian (Douglas Flint) and new CEO Ou Zhihua (Stuart Gulliver) to the Vikram.

Prior to the two week of the Davos Forum Annual Conference, the 2011 global risk report pointed out that one of the biggest threats facing the world in 2011 is still the risk of sovereign debt default caused by the government's fiscal instability. Other risks include limited resources and illegal economy.

Analysts believe that the presence of Jean-Claude Trichet, German Chancellor Merkel, French President Sarkozy and British Prime Minister Cameron will make Davos an important behind the scenes Negotiation Conference on the topic of "European stability" as the theme of Davos.

Many European leaders will consider whether they have the political will to take decisive steps towards deeper political integration, whether they can get public support, whether they can scrape through the crisis and substitute for special management.
