At the same time, the development of new export markets such as ASEAN and Latin America has stimulated the export of our shoes to a large extent.

However, behind the good export situation, our shoe export still faces many worries.

For example, since the beginning of this year, with the international and domestic economic recovery, there has been a serious shortage of workers in the coastal and inland areas of China.

In addition, international oil prices are still operating at a high level in the near future, driving up the prices of major raw materials such as rubber.

The existence of these factors has further increased the cost pressure of Taizhou shoe making enterprises.

In this regard, the industry suggested that the relevant departments should give full play to the coordination and organizational functions of the trade associations, standardize the export behavior of footwear enterprises, guide them to actively deal with trade barriers with legal means, and urge them to keep a close watch on the laws and regulations of importing countries, grasp the latest footwear product testing standards and norms in a timely manner, and improve their early warning capabilities.
