First, influenced by the shrinking demand of European and American consumer market, the boom of global textile and garment production has declined.

Japan's earthquake has not yet focused on the main export market for Japanese clothing companies in Nantong, but the situation is worrying in the next quarter.

Two, as the cost of domestic labor, raw materials and other factors continues to rise, the traditional comparative advantage is facing severe challenges, and the outflow of orders to neighboring countries in Asia has become an irreversible trend.

Three, the expected pressure of RMB appreciation will bring greater negative impact on the industry.

The appreciation of RMB has increased the cost and quotation of China's textile and clothing, thus, to a certain extent, it has lost the low price competitive advantage of our products in the international market, and the export will be restrained.

Four, there is no better dislocation development among enterprises. The structure of export products is convergent, and the export market is single. Price competition is still the main means, resulting in a marked decline in unit price and further dilution of profits, which is not conducive to the development of the whole industry.

Therefore, the inspection and quarantine departments suggest exporting garment manufacturers to speed up the development of deep processing, finishing, high value-added products and technology intensive products, and establish a quick response mechanism for small batch, multi variety and fast delivery, and speed up the pformation of foreign trade growth mode from quantity growth to quality win.

We should rely on technological innovation, brand cultivation and energy saving and emission reduction to promote the optimization and upgrading of the industrial export structure, realize resource saving development, effectively digest the factors of cost rise, and further enhance the export competitiveness of the industry.

We should further straighten out the competitive relationship, strive for dislocation development, avoid low-level duplication of production and vicious low price competition, and take the initiative to move towards the international market, seek and cultivate new customers, reduce intermediate links, and provide a guarantee for expanding garment export trade.
