Policy Stability Confidence Increases EU Buyer'S Shoe Order Return To China

Since April 1st, the EU has cancelled 16.5% of China's leather shoes.

    Anti-dumping duty

After that, EU buyers began relocating their orders back to China, and the planned pfer was temporarily stopped.

Earlier, because of the rising cost of shoe-making in China, and the EU's anti-dumping duties blocking many other reasons, the industry has been pmitting.

    Nike

    Puma,

    Adidas

And other international shoe giants are ready to shift the production and purchase of some of their products from China. At present, EU shoe buyers have indicated to Chinese factories that they will not pfer orders for the time being.

AOKANG shoe, a domestic shoe company, has finally tasted the fruits of its success after years of anti-dumping counterplea.

At present, nearly 20 thousand pairs of leather shoes from AOKANG are being shipped to the European Union. This is the first batch of leather shoes that AOKANG has entered the market after the EU abolished the 16.5% anti-dumping duty.

Next, there are hundreds of thousands of leather shoes waiting for delivery.

Wang Hailong, a spokesman for AOKANG, said yesterday that many customers had returned orders.

"Our largest customer in the European Union, GEOX Italy, has placed about 1500000 pairs of orders at most when the EU imposed anti-dumping duties on Chinese leather shoes, and then dropped to less than 1 million pairs.

Now, the orders pferred by GEOX company have been handed over to us again. The order quantity this year has increased by 70% over the same period last year.

In addition, there are still some small European customers who have terminated their orders before anti-dumping, and now they have come to negotiate with us.

    Wang Hailong said.

Wu Liming, the head of Kangnai group international trade department, also said that although the cost of raw materials and labor increased and the exchange rate fluctuated, the export quotas for shoes increased this year. But because of the reduction in the burden of anti-dumping duties by EU buyers, some customers are still looking back.

Guo Weiwen, Secretary General of Guangdong footwear alliance, also said that the EU has lifted anti-dumping duties on Chinese shoes. Buyers are looking at not only the corresponding cost reduction, but also the stability of policies, at least it is expected that the EU will not reverse the sale of Chinese leather shoes in the coming period, which has increased their confidence in China's procurement.

"Because of the rapid rise in the cost of shoemaking in Guangdong, some of the world's major customers greeted the factory earlier this year or pferred some of their orders.

Since April, these purchasers have been hesitant to take part in the orders, and have placed orders with Guangdong shoe factories.

According to our understanding, the international footwear giants such as Adidas and Nike have increased their orders.

The abolition of anti-dumping duties not only slowed down the pfer of some orders from Guangdong, but also led to the return of some of the products involved. The products that were pferred to Southeast Asia because of circumvention of anti-dumping duties were redeployed.

Compared with Southeast Asian shoemaking enterprises, our shoemaking industry still has strong competitiveness in terms of production technology, efficiency and quality.

    Guo Weiwen said.

Over the past few years, the export orders of several major shoe making bases in China are increasing.

According to the news from Bishan, a shoe market in Western China, the European Union's orders held by major enterprises in the shoe market have increased by about 80% over the same period.

The abolition of EU anti-dumping duties has given our shoe companies a breathing space in the face of rising costs.

However, the Ministry of Commerce and the relevant Footwear Association are reminding enterprises that they must seriously study the EU's laws and regulations on leather shoes export, standardize their own business practices, comply with industry rules, and create a favorable environment for the export of Chinese shoe enterprises.
