China's nonwoven products such as diapers, wet napkins, cotton pads, wipes and bags are of high quality and low price. These products belong to daily consumables in Europe. They have a large market demand and wide prospects.
Internationally renowned health products companies such as Johnson, Procter & Gamble, Kimberly and so on come to China's exhibition area to purchase and select Chinese enterprises as their suppliers.
And some domestic enterprises, which are hygienic and disposable, rely on lower prices, flexible operation performance and stable quality, so that China's post processing equipment has certain market space in Europe.
Innovation award highlights sustainability
The INDEX11 innovation award has always been the highlight of the exhibition and has been awarded to institutions and individuals who have made innovations and outstanding achievements in the development of nonwoven products.
This year is the tenth time since the inception of the International Nonwovens exhibition in 1984. The award has been divided into 7 aspects, namely, nonwoven materials, finished products, marketing, raw materials or components, machinery, sustainable products, sustainable processes or management practices, which has increased two "sustainable" compared with the previous one.
The winners of this year's "sustainable" awards are Procter & Gamble and 3M.
Procter & Gamble's Active Fit with Dry Max diaper development not only explains Procter & Gamble's continuous innovation policy, but also shows how a high-profile brand can achieve sustainable development.
P & G also put forward a new long-term development target for nonwovens: in the future, 100% of all products will be recycled.
By 2020, in Procter & Gamble's 50 home brands, 25% of the reused materials will be used to replace non replaceable materials, and the sales volume of these products will exceed $1 billion.
3M has been committed to sustainable development for 35 years. During this period, they completed 8100 sub projects, eliminating 1 billion 400 million kilograms of pollution and saving us $1 billion 400 million - they achieved "sustainable technology or management practices".
Such results are not immediately apparent, but in the long run, the 55000 products 3M has done are indeed shocking.
