The story of Eucerin (superior forest) began more than a century ago in 1900. Dr. Lifsch TZ, a German Department of Dermatology specialist, developed a new skin moisturizing emulsifier and was patented.
Unlike previous skin care products, the ointment developed by Dr. Lifsch TZ has smooth texture, stable efficacy and no irritation. It provides excellent protection and conditioning for the skin.

Soon the product was changed to Eucerin &ldquo superior forest &rdquo (Greek &ldquo beautiful wax &rdquo).
The first batch of products listed in Germany also included: the treatment of pain, the superior forest powder, the superior forest iodine paste and the superior forest soap.
