Introduction:

    School of art, Anhui Engineering University Founded in 1982 (formerly) Department of Arts and crafts, Anhui Institute of electrical and Mechanical Engineering As the earliest Department of art and Design Specialty in Anhui Province, in the past 30 years of construction and development, it has consistently adhered to the training objectives of high-quality applied talents, strengthened the advantages of disciplines and created professional characteristics, and achieved fruitful results, forming a free, active and innovative academic atmosphere. It has set up eight undergraduate majors and directions, including decorative art design, environmental art design, industrial design, industrial design, art, animation, advertising, decorative art design and computer art design. In 1997, design art was rated as the provincial key discipline. In 1999, industrial design was rated as the provincial key specialty. In 2008, the specialty of art design was rated as a provincial specialty. In 2009, it was rated as a national characteristic specialty. 2005 the design art research center has been approved as the key research base of Humanities and Social Sciences at the provincial level. In 2005, he was granted the master's degree of design arts, and was awarded master's degree of art subject in 2011.
     
The Institute now has more than 2300 full-time undergraduate and postgraduate students, and more than 90 full-time teachers, including 6 professors, more than 20 associate professors, 4 Ph.D., 70% masters with master's degree, and a reasonable teaching staff with a degree and academic title and title structure has been formed. In the field of design art education, theoretical research and design practice, it has been in the leading position of the province. Over the years, it has undertaken more than 150 research projects at the national level or above, completed more than 500 design projects, published more than 900 academic papers at all levels of the country, and published more than 70 publications and monographs, including 30 Anhui planning textbooks in 11th Five-Year, 70 design awards at the provincial level and more than 130 patents.

The Institute now has 10 teachers' research rooms and academic workshops, namely screen printing studio, packaging design studio, animation pendulum laboratory and reverse engineering studio. It has built relatively perfect professional computer rooms and teaching laboratories, such as: art design room, mobile painting room, non-linear editing laboratory, industrial design model studio, etc.
The school has a clear idea of running a school: always adhering to the guiding ideology of "running towards the society, serving the economy, and being practical and innovative". Focusing on the central position of teaching, adhering to the modern educational quality concept of "coordinated development of knowledge, ability and quality", adhering to the mode of talent training closely integrated with the three closely integrated design education, scientific research and social practice, laying emphasis on the market, focusing on practice and teaching, aiming at innovating and nurturing talents. According to the needs of social development, we should actively expand the professional direction, emphasize the interrelated, mutual coordination and mutual promotion of all professions, so as to enhance the breadth of professional development to enhance the depth of professional cross research. At present, our institute has initially established a relatively complete, systematic and reasonable disciplinary development system, and has become the province's design art department with the largest variety and the most comprehensive design art department.
     
The college has always been committed to actively guiding students to "be honest, be practical and do solid learning". In the direction of "targeting the market, adapting to the market, tracking the market and serving the market", a "three combination" talent training mode has been gradually formed, which combines art education with moral education, imparting knowledge and training ability, combining professional practice with serving the society, and actively conveying a large number of outstanding design art talents for local economic construction and social development. Over the past 30 years, over 4000 outstanding undergraduate graduates have been trained, and the employment rate has remained above 90%. Graduates are distributed in large and medium-sized cities throughout the country. They mainly flow to all kinds of system advertisements, architectural decorations, Products Design Company, media, publishing houses, design institutes, institutions of higher learning and so on. They play an active role in promoting the development of local economy; all the institutions of Higher Education in art and design in Anhui province have taught in our college, directly promoting the development of design art education in Anhui; many excellent graduates choose to start their own businesses and achieve excellent results. Their outstanding performance in different fields of work has been widely recognized and praised by all sectors of society. In recent years, the results of the follow up survey of two grads of college graduates show that employers, alumni, media and parents generally believe that our college graduates are professional and solid, with a strong sense of competition, a strong sense of innovation, strong practical ability and adaptability, and can meet the needs of local economic and social development.
     
The late famous art masters, the Standing Committee of the CPPCC National Committee, Tsinghua University Academy of Fine Arts When Mr. Wu Guanzhong, a doctoral supervisor, came to the college to give lectures and visit, he was pleased with the results of our school's research. He gave the "Happy Dragon breeding tiger", which has been fully recognized and highly evaluated by our school's personnel training. This will also encourage us to move towards a higher goal.

Charging standard
    
According to the relevant documents, tuition fees for arts majors are: 7000 yuan / person / school year. The above tuition fee is the 2010 standard for reference. If there is any change, it will be implemented according to the adjusted standard.

Enrollment target
   
In line with the requirements of the national higher education institutions, it has a certain foundation of painting, and is healthy, without color blindness and weak color. Register for foreign languages in English.

1. enrolment: candidates should hold their ID cards and participate in the examination of professional test papers of provinces or cities where they are registered.
   
2. professional examination: examination time is on the basis of admission examination (or registration site). Subjects: Sketch and color (full marks are 100 points).

 
3. culture class examination: candidates from other provinces who take part in our school's professional examinations are issued. Our school has issued the certificate of pass, and qualified candidates have taken part in the national college entrance examination. Candidates must attend the college entrance examination in the places where their professional registration forms are filled. Otherwise, they will not be admitted.

Admission
   
1, to the school professional examination qualified, professional examination, cultural examination results to reach the lowest level of art admission in the province where the examinee is assigned, according to the examinee volunteer, the provincial candidates according to the professional and cultural examination comprehensive performance ranking (comprehensive score = professional sub * 70%+ cultural sub 30%) preferred admission.
