Shanghai entry-exit inspection and Quarantine Bureau on the 10 day here destroyed 79 batches and more than 10000 pieces of unqualified imports of high-grade clothing, which marks Shanghai port since January 1st this year, the implementation of the statutory inspection system for imported clothing has been effective.
According to the introduction, 1-5 months ago, the Shanghai entry exit inspection and Quarantine Bureau carried out inspection and Quarantine on some 11 thousand and 600 batch of imported garments valued at 228 million US dollars. A total of 178 batches of garments were found to be unqualified and confirmed to be destroyed or returned.
Unqualified imported garments are mainly produced in Korea, Italy, Portugal, Morocco, Spain, India, Turkey, Bangladesh and so on.
