Leaving Home Workers To Go Home To &Nbsp; Rationality Or Helplessness?

    2011/6/24 15:19:00 62

    Migrant Workers Rational Helpless

A few decades ago, it may be forced to leave the country, but today it is a very common phenomenon and a trend of the times.

People go to high places. The children in the mountains want to see the world outside the mountain. The children in the countryside want to jump into the big cities. The young people at the county level are rushing to the provincial capital, and the students in the two or three tier cities cast their sights on the first tier cities.

The largest number of cities where migrant workers accumulate is more than the north. But according to the latest research data, young people are no longer pursuing the footprints of their parents.

    Economics

The rapid development of science and technology has given birth to a huge labor market, and the increasing development of information and pportation has made the speed of circulation of talents no less than that of high-speed rail.

More and more people choose to "leave home", leaving home is full of confidence and returning home is everyone's wish. But how many people can get a foothold in other places? How many obstacles are waiting for them in that strange city?

    Job wanted

    Some references for people.

A total of 2140 people participated in the online survey, of which 63% were men, 51% were undergraduate or above, 37% were college education, 26% had 1 to 2 years' working experience, 37% had 2 to 5 years' working experience, and over 30 years' work experience was 5.

    Graduate

    The proportion is 11%.

Looking for money in different places, without looking at money.

First tier cities do not expect high salaries.

In 2010, the willingness of job people to escape from the first tier cities was investigated. 70% of the working people were planning to escape from the first tier cities, and the "escape from the first tier cities" was once raged by the media.

Is that the attraction of the first tier cities no longer? This survey shows that 41% of job seekers will target cities in different places to locate in the four tier cities of Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen.

The first tier cities are also besieged by the city. The people in the city want to escape, but the people outside the city rush desperately.

In addition, East China (such as Nanjing, Suzhou, Ningbo, Hangzhou, Hefei, Qingdao, Ji'nan, Fuzhou, Minnan, Nanchang, Wuxi, Wuxi) is also an ideal place for job seekers in different places, and 27% of them set their destinations in East China.

The choice of Southern China central China (such as Changsha, Zhengzhou, Wuhan, Dongguan, Foshan, Zhongshan and Zhuhai) accounts for 10% of the cities along the Yangtze and coastal cities, which have been developed economically since ancient times. It is not surprising that the economy has brought opportunities and become popular.

In addition, only 7% of the people have no demand for urban choice.

What objective factors motivate you to choose a city to apply for jobs? In this survey, it is shown that the average wage level of urban workers is not what we all value. Employment opportunities are the most important condition.

According to the data released online in April 2011, the top ten ranking cities are Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Wuhan, Nanjing, Chengdu, Xi'an and Shenyang, which coincided with the location of hot spots in different locations in the survey of "job seekers in different places".

The urban development prospects, openness and humanistic environment are all higher than the average wage level of urban workers.

It can be seen that nowadays job seekers in different places are more sensible and more long-term in choosing the target cities.

But when asked about the salary situation, 51% of job seekers in different places indicated that their current salary level was lower than their original requirements.

Only 4% of people get paid more than their own requirements.

The survey also shows that the salary requirements of job seekers who work in the first tier cities are not too high. Compared with the East China region, the proportion of expected salary is above 8000 yuan / month, and the salary requirements of 3000 to 5999 yuan / month account for about half of the total salary.

In contrast, the total expected salary of job seekers in the northwest to southwest (such as Xi'an, Chongqing, Chengdu, Kunming) is relatively low, and the proportion of 2000 to 2999 yuan / month is slightly higher.

Escape is not reason but helplessness.

Most people have recognized the trend of escaping from North China.

"Choose to leave" is the trend of the return of the rational and the maturity of the wisdom of the people.

"Escape" is a win-win move for individuals and big cities.

In this way, "helpless abandonment" is known as "rational choice" and "escape" is no longer a failure, but a sublimation of the situation.

However, the fascination of big cities is really only based on ideas. It is clear that people are dependent on resources and alive, considering that the allocation of resources is tilted to the point where they can not be increased. Who does not want to leave a cup of soup?

Unbalanced distribution of resources leads to imbalance of opportunities.

China is a country with a very uneven distribution of resources (including employment opportunities, experience and communication circles, etc.), and the uneven distribution of resources will inevitably lead to an imbalance of opportunities. While living in the core cities of North Guangdong and Guangzhou, it is necessary to pay higher costs, but correspondingly, it will also get more opportunities.

This is also the reason why young people are able to get together with the first tier cities.

Why did a group of young people come to the north, because this is a rational choice for resources.

Resources do not "escape", only let people "escape"?

It is not just young people who get together in big cities, businesses, schools, business facilities, places of communication, service providers...

These essential elements of work, learning, communication, leisure and consulting services in contemporary life are mostly concentrated in big cities, and they will not "escape" on a large scale in the foreseeable future. They will not escape. How can young people who are attracted to them and want to get a better job and a fuller life will be willing to "run away"?

    Leaving may be the elite.

Regional development is unbalanced, investment is over concentrated in big cities, and all kinds of resource advantages are relatively concentrated in the first tier cities. This is not only the key reason for population expansion in the first tier cities, but also the reason why young people hesitate to find their own positions in the busy urban streets.

The richness of resources has led to the cruelty of the elimination mechanism.

In China, family based repulsion is often more important than ability selection, and because of this, the possibility of leaving is actually the elite.

There are thousands of things, but there are many good things.

For the government departments in the first tier cities, the problem of population expansion is now a headache. However, it is not easy to live in Changan. Since ancient times, the cost of living in big cities is high, both at home and abroad. But as a symbolic product of modernization, who can ignore the advantages of big cities? The resources and capital of the whole society are tilting towards the big cities, and traffic, education, medical treatment, culture and so on are all the same.

In this sense, experts say, "what the city needs to do is respect their decisions".
