The school is a public full-time, provincial key comprehensive secondary vocational school. The school based department, Dongfeng Campus (RTVU) and Panyu Tianxing campus have set up multi level academic education in secondary vocational schools, radio and TV universities, and undergraduate courses. At present, there are about 2500 students.

In the past three years, the government has invested nearly 140 million yuan to make a comprehensive reform of the school, so that the school capacity and school looks brand-new, and the educational and teaching facilities have basically been modernized.

In 2004, our school was assessed by the provincial education department as the key secondary vocational school, and became the only provincial key secondary vocational school in the old urban area of Guangzhou.

The students in secondary vocational schools have applied for RTVU junior college courses third years after their application. From the first year of secondary vocational school, they got the diploma from the fastest 5 years, and got the undergraduate diploma in 6 years.

The school has a strong faculty, and the total number of teachers with high academic qualifications (postgraduate or master's degree) and middle and senior (including super grade) titles exceeds 80% of all teachers.

In the past three years, the qualification rate of the intermediate certificate of our students has reached over 97%, and the rate of higher vocational colleges has maintained over 97%, and the employment rate of graduates has remained above 98%.
