Shandong silk textile Career Academy is a provincial public full-time general higher school.

Founded in 1960 and restored to school in 1980, it was subordinate to the Shandong provincial textile department and Shandong silk General Corporation, and was placed in Zibo in 2001.

In 1992, she was awarded the provincial and ministerial level key technical secondary school. In 1999, she was awarded the national key vocational school and upgraded to a vocational college in March 2006.

The college is located in the famous "silk town of China" and "China's textile industrial base" - Zhoucun District, Zibo City, Shandong Province, with an area of more than 500 mu and a building area of 13 square meters.

The college has complete teaching facilities, advanced equipment, scientific teaching methods, and modern educational technology has been widely used.

In accordance with the requirements of the "high standard, high level and high level" construction, the Institute has formed a reasonable training platform for talents training inside and outside the University. It has 7 departments: Textile Engineering, dyeing and chemical engineering, electrical and mechanical engineering, garment engineering, information engineering, art design and business administration. It has 24 professional colleges, 4 undergraduate pilot programs, 1 provincial specialty (dyeing and finishing technology), 1 provincial top quality courses (coloring proofing).

Focusing on the economic chain of silk, textile, printing, dyeing, clothing and art design industry in the textile industry, we have constructed a professional system with silk, textile, clothing and art as the center, covering the production, management, operation and design of science, engineering, culture, arts and other fields.
