Jiang Ruxiang: What Is Real Professionalism?

    Jiang Ruxiang'S Real Professionalization

    What is real professionalism?

    Understand the occupation literally.

The job is a post or a professional title.

Usually, the roles of social organizations are often appointed or elected. Whether you are a manager or a lawyer, it is the role that social and economic activities give you.

That is to say, the power department or individual of this organization defines what you are, what power you have and what you should do.

The so-called "in his position, seek his administration" is the requirement of "job", and the so-called resignation is that you leave this "seat".

    What is industry?

    We often say

    "Get married and get married."

Here, "industry" refers to some achievement or result.

To do business is to establish "industry", so it is called career.

Things are in the front, and industry is behind. If they are unemployed, they will do nothing.

Similarly, the industry is also in the front line and the industry is in the future, but if there is no result, no industry will exist.

From this point of view, what the profession talks about is nothing but "in its position, it seeks its administration and gains its fruit".

    and

    Professionalization

What is expressed is to create corresponding achievements or values from the duties and requirements.

The question now is: why is professionalism the foundation of modern commercial society?

I think this is mainly related to

    Social division of labor

    Of

By inventing a set of market trading systems, modern commercial civilization can enable people to achieve division or cooperation in a large scope or scale through pactions.

For example, building a house is made up of bricks made by Chinese workers, steel made by Russian workers, paint made by American workers, floors made by German workers, radiator made by British workers, etc.

Since value is realized through exchange, the performance emphasized by modern enterprises has nothing to do with manufacturers.

Here, the performance or value is mainly determined by external supply and demand, and has nothing to do with labor volume. This logic constitutes the foundation of western economics.

What is the external market supply and demand?

The first is the market system, and the second is customer demand.

These two points are independent of the enterprise and will not be changed because of different enterprises.

The independence of the system and the customer value makes the performance independent. The value of the performance is not different from the boss. No matter who is the boss, the performance is determined by the market system and the customer value.

This independence is the fundamental pillar of modern professional managers.

The so-called professional manager is a group of people who create value through management system based on market system and customer value.

Without the independence of the market system and the value of customers, it is impossible to have the independence of professional managers. This is why professional managers prefer to risk their business being fired by their bosses and also to comply with business rules and defend business ethics.

From this perspective, in the concept of occupation in modern commercial civilization, "industry" is the foundation of a job. The most important thing for an employee is not due diligence but dedication.

    What is dedication?

Dedication is the first to comply with the rules of the market and customer value, no rules, no customers, you do no more useless! Secondly, in the market rules and customer value of diligence, seriousness and focus, that is, the so-called specialization.

The premise is determined, and the next logic is to work hard and harvest.

Why is the level of professionalization of Chinese enterprises so low?

In the present reality, the main reason is that our market exchange rules have their own problems.

The existence of rent-seeking phenomenon makes the customer value no longer respected, resulting in the loss of independence.

But it is not fair to put the blame on the government or the system entirely. Why do we see a lot of unprofessional behaviors in some industries that are fully competitive, such as household appliances, clothing and beverages?

Why are there still not a large number of professional managers in these industries?

I think the reason may be from the source.

Looking at Chinese history, we will know that the traditional Chinese society is a small peasant economy as the main body. The biggest characteristic of the small peasant economy is that there is no division of labor in society.

It is said that some Chinese have migrated to some cold island to make fish for their living. But they always want to knock down the hard ice on the mountain to remove the seeds and see if they can grow anything. This shows the strong culture of agriculture.

Since there is no division of labor, there will be no large-scale or large-scale pactions, and some will only be self sufficient.

In a self-sufficient environment, "industry" has no fixed rules and no rules, so it has to be adjusted by morality.

The definition of Chinese culture is fundamentally different from the definition of modern business culture.

In modern business civilization, the industry is clear and the first. Therefore, the job is to serve the industry.

In traditional Chinese culture, the industry is not clear, but the position is clear, but people can change. The role of morality is to destroy human desires.

This is the source of Machiavellian thinking: it is wrong for people, everything is centered on power, and there is no objective standard.

The vitality of culture is much stronger than we think.

This is why even in today's fully competitive market, there are still quite a few Chinese entrepreneurs in management, putting the "job" in the first place and putting the "industry" in second.

Because in their view, there is no sense of loyalty to their individual, their performance is meaningless.

And what is due diligence, your position is I appointed you, you listen to me is due diligence.

Under such a big cultural background, I always doubt that quite a number of entrepreneurs who emphasize the management of companies with "Virtue" actually explain their loyalty to Germany in their hearts.

This is a big parent's thinking in the small peasant economy and culture. How can professional managers grow up under such thinking?

After contacting too many entrepreneurs in the spirit of creation, I put forward a concept called "the first promotion of entrepreneurs".

Entrepreneurs' self revolution is the "God's hand" and the first driving force for the professionalization of enterprises.

Do not believe you look at Vanke, Lenovo these excellent enterprise professionalism behind the key is that entrepreneurs have taken a great step: to achieve the negation and Transcendence of self.

Otherwise, whatever you say, I doubt the sustainability.

But it's hard to be here. It's not difficult to win the life of others, but it's hard to change your life.

As a marathon, what outstanding athlete won't win a breakthrough in his own limits?
