The new test facilities and instruments and matching funds could basically meet the requirements of the central construction. The expert group agreed to set up the "Testing Center for China's industrial textiles industry (Jiangsu)" in the Institute, and hoped that after the establishment of the testing center, the key areas of testing should be identified according to the development characteristics, location advantages and market demand of the industry, and professional talents should be introduced to further enhance the level of technical services.

According to Zhang Ming, President of Jiangsu textile product quality supervision and Inspection Research Institute, the Institute is a comprehensive textile inspection institution engaged in textile fiber and yarn to products, and is also the first institution to carry out textile safety performance inspection in the whole country. The existing laboratory has an area of 3000 square meters and more than 300 sets of specialized textile inspection equipment, and has a strong professional and technical team, of which senior titles account for more than half. The Institute has undertaken the work of the standardization unit of home textiles and the standardization of yarn dyed fabrics in China, and has played a positive role in improving the textile standard system.

Li Lingshen told the author that during the "12th Five-Year" period, the China Industrial Textiles Association will accelerate the construction of the public service platform of the industrial textile industry technology center, R & D center and Information Center, and the 3~5 testing center will be set up in the whole country. The testing center in Jiangsu is the second testing center for China's industrial textiles industry, which is consistent with Jiangsu's position in China's industrial textiles industry. He said that Jiangsu is not only a major textile Province, but also a strong textile province. It has deep foundation and development conditions in both the basic textile industry and the high-tech industries such as industrial textiles. The establishment of Testing Center for industrial textiles in Jiangsu will play a positive role in promoting the development of Jiangsu's industrial textiles and covering the surrounding areas. It is also an important support for the transformation and upgrading of the textile industry in Jiangsu.

"We will strengthen the publicity of the testing center within the association, urge the industrial downstream enterprises to carry out product testing and related certification, and further promote the healthy development of the industry," Li Lingshen said. For the association, providing public platform services for enterprises and industries, creating conditions for the transformation of production, teaching and research, is an important support for the realization of the "12th Five-Year" technology goals of industrial textiles.
