Jiangxi Ceramic And Art Institute

Jiangxi Ceramic and Art Institute is a full-time public institution of higher learning approved by the Jiangxi Provincial People's government and the Ministry of education.

The school is located in Dongcheng District, Jingdezhen, which is famous both at home and abroad. It was founded in 1958. It was founded in 1958. After many years of survival and failure, it was revived in 1979.

It takes art design and ceramic materials as its specialty, focusing on the number of Arts and business administration majors, covering disciplines like art, science, literature, economics and management, and training advanced technology applied talents for production, construction, management and service front-line.

The school conscientiously carries out the education policy of the party and the state, earnestly implements the strategy of strengthening the school with talents, and has made efforts to build a famous teacher project. It has built up a contingent of highly qualified teachers with excellent professional skills, reasonable structure and appropriate quantity. There are more than 300 full-time teachers, including 46 professors and associate professors, 77 masters, 3 masters of Chinese arts and crafts, 3 masters of Arts and crafts in Jiangxi Province, 2 experts from the Ministry of education, 2 members of the national ceramic machinery and equipment committee, and 7 middle-aged and young backbone teachers and teaching masters in Colleges and universities in Jiangxi province.

They have both theory and practice, scientific research and teaching, and published dozens of textbooks and monographs. Among them, the eight ceramic art glaze technology, the ceramic industrial machinery and equipment, the painted art of pink porcelain and the design sketch are selected as the national eleven. Many works of art teachers, such as pottery, calligraphy and painting, design, animation and so on, have won the competition awards of ceramic design, advertising design, commercial packaging and animation at home and abroad.

Ceramic engineering, ceramic decoration materials, ceramic art design and sculpture art design four professions, was awarded the province's University model professional.

In 2006, the training base for pottery production became a training base for vocational education supported by the central government, playing an important role in regional economic development and personnel training.
