Sichuan Clothing Art School

Sichuan clothing art school, also known as Sichuan silk school, is located in Nanchong, a famous historical and cultural city. It is located in the ruins of Nanchong's West Mountain Scenic Area, located at the source of the "Three Kingdoms culture". The campus covers an area of 175 Mu and the school building area is 4 square meters. It is the only national key secondary vocational school in the west of China, which specializes in sericulture, clothing and art. It enjoys the reputation of "Silk talent base and the cradle of clothing talents".

The school was founded in 1913. The founder is the vice chairman of the late Central People's government and Mr. Zhang Lan, a famous educator.

As early as the 30s of last century, the school has become the center of the National Silk school (Mr. Zhang Lan).

After the founding of new China, with the attention of the party and the government, the school has cultivated and pported tens of thousands of applied talents for the socialist construction. "The history of Chinese silk education" is called "secondary school with long history and outstanding achievements".

In the new historical period of building a socialist market economy, schools are advancing with the times, accelerating the pace of reform and construction, and usher in a new golden age of running schools.

The school now has 16 major and Secondary Vocational Specialties, including garment design and technology, clothing production and marketing, fashion design, leather design, advertising design and decoration, numerical control technology application, computer application, electromechanical technology application, electronic technology application, business foreign language, tourism foreign language and tour guide, garment foreign language, silk technology, sericulture, administrative business secretarial, etc. clothing, leather goods, business Japanese, sericulture, silk and other specialties are distinctive specialties in the whole province or even the similar schools in the whole country.

In 2003, experts from the provincial education department assessed that clothing, sericulture and other majors were recognized as the provincial key specialties.

There are 110 full-time teachers in the school. They graduated from Southwestern University, China Textile University, Zhejiang University, Sichuan University, Chongqing University, Chongqing University, and so on. Among them, there are 35 senior lecturers, 47 lecturers and 36 teachers with double qualifications. They have won the title of top educators, provincial labor models, outstanding young and middle-aged talents with outstanding contributions, and 26 outstanding teachers who have been commended by provincial and municipal level above.

Over the past 5 years, our school teachers have edited and compiled more than 40 kinds of general teaching materials, more than 300 kinds of lectures, and published more than 300 teaching and research papers in relevant professional publications at home and abroad. Over 40 items have been chaired, involved in scientific research and practical technology development.
