Suzhou Art & Design Technology Institute

Suzhou Art and Design Technology Institute is located in the "Suzhou International Education Park", which is located in the mountain lake scenic area above Suzhou. The natural environment of the park is unique.

The college covers an area of 563 mu, with a total construction area of 200 thousand square meters.

The Institute now has visual communication department, environmental art department, industrial design department, decoration art department, garment engineering department, digital art department, modern educational technology center, social science department, foreign language department, sports department and continuing education department.

For many years, the college has successively won the honorary title of Jiangsu provincial civilized unit, advanced vocational education unit of Jiangsu Province, advanced unit of Jiangsu admissions work, advanced comprehensive management units, and advanced collective of Ideological and political education in Colleges and universities in Jiangsu province.

In 2006, the college was recommended by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of education and the Department of finance to declare the state-level demonstrative higher vocational colleges. In 2007, the college was awarded the first batch of provincial-level Demonstrative Higher Vocational Colleges in Jiangsu.

The Institute has the "continuing education base for professional and technical personnel of Jiangsu arts and crafts industry" approved by the Jiangsu Provincial Personnel Office, and the "advertising designer, exhibition director and interior decoration designer identification base" approved by the Jiangsu labor and social security department.

The Institute also has the experimental teaching demonstration center of the basic courses of Arts and crafts in Jiangsu, Jiangsu vocational training base and Suzhou animation industry training base.
