Huambo Science And Technology Teachers And Students From Career Academy Visited Donghua.
The Donghua University Raffles International Design Institute has welcomed the visiting group of teachers and students from Huambo science and technology Career Academy.
Under the leadership of Chen Wenda, assistant dean of Huambo college, this team of 28 freshmen from clothing design, product design, graphic design and multimedia design major, and 4 young teachers' backbone teams visited the Raffles teaching environment in Donghua, learned the education system and methods of Raffles, appreciated the achievements and works of many outstanding students, and had an intuitive understanding of the future development of Huambo college.
Huambo science and technology Career Academy was founded in 2000. It is a general institution of higher learning for nationwide enrollment.
In 2008, Raffles Education Group officially invested in the Huambo science and technology Career Academy. By introducing advanced educational resources and disseminating advanced teaching concepts, it fostering international professionals with "good English, new thinking and strong practice", and expanded the concepts of "International Education Network", "creative thinking development", "characteristic language education" and "practical education" to all majors other than creative design, and comprehensively promoted the teaching level of the whole Huambo Institute.
This milestone pformation made it an excellent private education leader from an ordinary vocational education college.
In the 2008 (first) Chinese Private University 50 strong selection, it was successfully ranked among the top 50 of China's private universities. It can be said that the Huambo college is a successful attempt of the Raffles education group in the field of private education.
In addition to sharing advanced international educational resources, the Huambo Institute has extensive academic exchanges with the Donghua Raffles school.
Since 2009, every freshman representative of design major in Huambo college will visit and visit Donghua Raffles before starting the professional course. From the perceptual point of view, we can understand and learn all kinds of professional courses and feel the edification of design culture, thus turning interest into a more rational learning consciousness and motivation.
Raffles in Donghua also makes full use of the advantages of its own foreign teachers, inviting experienced foreign teachers to teach in Huambo, broaden their horizons and enrich their knowledge.
Just two days before the event, Paul, deputy director of the Raffles Business Administration Department of Donghua, went to Huambo to carry out a wonderful lecture entitled "Raffles general survey - Raffles Design thoroughfare road".
During the day's activities, Dr. Tan Guojian, academic director of Raffles in Donghua, first welcomed the teachers and students from Huambo.
In his welcome speech, Dr Tan introduced the Raffles in Donghua with the professional setup of an international teaching team. He paid attention to practice and exploration instead of theoretical study, and encouraged the thinking and innovative spirit of education mode; not only had IELTS examination skills, but also had the international competitive advantage of English thinking mode, and the talent training mode that encouraged the accumulation of experience and emphasized the platform construction of school enterprise cooperation.
In addition to training professional and English skills, Raffles also pays attention to the cultivation of students' sense of social responsibility. In 2010 Shanghai World Expo, 46 Raffles volunteers actively participated in the first line of Donghua World Expo.
Then, under the leadership of the Raffles marketing department in Donghua, the teachers and students of the Huambo college visited the teaching environment and teaching layout of Donghua Raffles Xinhua Building, design building and main building one by one.
Looking at the Raffles Privato fashionable Handbook, looking at the excellent student works arranged and displayed inside and outside the building, the students can not help sending out praise, but they have not yet begun to learn professional courses. Under the introduction of Liz, the Raffles fashion design department in Donghua, they learned about the professional layout of each floor and the design and layout concept of students in each display window.
Liz also explained the demand trend of talents in the fashion industry in the future, and thought that the importance of children's wear designers will be greatly enhanced. Interested students may wish to develop in this direction.
In the course of the visit, the students of fashion design department of Huambo college were fortunate enough to go deep into the classroom of fabric dyeing and typing, and feel the charm of Raffles foreign teachers.
Not only students, but also the backbone of young teachers, have gained many lessons from the layout of the design atmosphere, the encouragement of students' interest in learning, and the reasonable arrangement of disciplines and workshops.
Finally, the teachers and students of the Huambo college came to the main building of Raffles, Donghua, and were suddenly surrounded by the dense English atmosphere.
Browse a number of graduates who have entered the world's top 500 business development or overseas famous universities, and appreciate the smiles of IELTS 6 or above students on the wall of IELTS. Students from Huambo feel more and more deeply about the importance of learning English well. So in the lecture on English education, Scott, assistant director of English Department of Raffles in Donghua, I listened very seriously.
Scott introduced in detail the curriculum and teaching staff of Raffles English Teaching in Donghua. He laughs that the team composed of 22 teachers from all over the world has over 200 years of teaching experience and is experienced.
At the same time, he also put forward higher requirements for students, because language learning is not easy. He hopes that students can build self-confidence and seize every opportunity to practice listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.
In the same place, we hope that the teacher of Enno, Department of visual communication, raffles, Donghua, as a graduate tutor, pays more attention to the training of basic skills.
From his personal experience, the students learned that Enno had never stopped learning the graphic design of "no computer" for 20 years. He believed that the creative brain and the skill of hand drawing were the most important factors in the design process.
During the warm applause of teachers and students in the Huambo college, the half day visit to school has come to an end. However, we all have a sense of unending desire. The thirsty students are eager to communicate with more foreign teachers.
Chen Wenda, assistant dean of Huambo college, assured them that in the future study, the Huambo Institute will deepen its interaction with Raffles in Donghua in all aspects.
As far as curriculum is concerned, first of all, Raffles will continue to invite foreign teachers to teach in Huambo. Recently, 4 different lectures have been arranged. In addition, the requirements of English learning will be strengthened so that students can have more international development space.
From the perspective of resource sharing, Huambo will build a platform for school enterprise cooperation, like Donghua raffles, to provide more opportunities for internship and employment for students, and discuss the mechanism of mutual recognition of credits, so as to build a "through train" for Huambo students to study abroad and pursue further education.
