The Exhibition Boosts Wenling's Footwear Industry Into The Fast Lane.

On the morning of October 26th, the seventh China (Wenling) footwear, shoe materials and equipment exhibition opened in Wenling stadium, Zhejiang. At present, there are more than 4000 shoe making enterprises in Wenling. In 2006, the output value reached 17 billion 200 million yuan and became one of the largest injection shoes bases in the country. Footwear industry has become one of the six pillar industries in Wenling, accounting for nearly 1/5 of the total industrial output value of the city. In August this year, the China Light Industry Arts and crafts import and Export Association awarded the city's "China footwear export base" honorary title. The annual Wenling footwear, footwear and equipment exhibition provides a good platform for the development of local footwear industry and the technological transformation of footwear enterprises. It will further accelerate the pace of technological innovation in Wenling's footwear industry, constantly enhance the international competitiveness of the footwear industry, and provide a better platform for further strengthening the footwear industry's external cooperation and exchanges. It is understood that the first shoe exhibition in 2001, when the output value of footwear industry in Wenling was only 9 billion 800 million yuan, this year it is expected to reach 20 billion yuan. Behind the rapid growth of the footwear industry, shoe exhibitions are indispensable. This year's Fair has 280 footwear enterprises and 381 stalls. These two figures have increased by more than 40% over the previous session, attracting more than 100 import and export companies from Fujian, Guangdong and Shanghai to visit the procurement.
