Henan Industrial And Commercial Spot Checks Result &Nbsp; Underwear Merchandise Pass Rate 66.3%

The Henan Provincial Administration for Industry and Commerce recently commissioned the inspection and Quarantine Technology Center of the Henan entry exit inspection and Quarantine Bureau to supervise and spot the underwear products sold in the circulation area of Zhengzhou, Xinyang, Nanyang and Luoyang.

It is reported that this purchase was conducted by random sampling. A total of 80 samples of 62 brands, including cotton, modle, synthetic fiber and infant products, were sampled. According to the relevant national standards and related industry standards, 7 indexes including fiber content, azo, formaldehyde, pH value, color fastness to rubbing, and color fastness to perspiration (acid and alkali) were tested. Four samples were tested.

The initial test results showed that 80 groups of underwear products qualified products were 53 groups, the initial pass rate was 66.3%.

Among them, the formaldehyde content, azo dye and dry and dry fastness index of the samples were all qualified.

The unqualified items of fiber content accounted for 86.7% of the unqualified items.

The measured value of fiber content of some products is not consistent with the nominal value, which is beyond the scope of national standard tolerance.

For example, the "Sheng WA" brand "natural color bar shoulder buckle sleeve", which is sold by the Zhengzhou sunrise baby clothing factory, is rated as "100% cotton" by the Tianjin Sheng wa baby garment factory. The fiber content is rated as "cotton 77.2% and polyester fiber 22.8%". The "Lingdi" brand "seamless" underwear produced by the Yiwu lingerie Knitting Co., Ltd. is named as "cotton 78%, nylon 19%%, spandex 3%%", which is called "cotton 78%, nylon and spandex".

Spot checks also found that part of the product's fiber label tagging is not standardized, it is easy to mislead consumers.

For example, the sale of brothers underwear business in Zhengzhou World Trade mall is known as the "sherdan" brand "Shu Dan Dan pure cotton underwear" by Shanghai Yucheng Garments Co., Ltd. (supply), the fiber content is rated as "cotton 100% (linen ash 80%, polyester 20%)", measured as "cotton 84.6%, polyester fiber 15.4%", a product also labeled two kinds of fiber content components, which is not consistent with the national mandatory standards.

After the initial inspection results were issued, no application was submitted by the enterprises. The final pass rate of the sampling samples was 66.3%.
