AOKANG shoe technology research institute covers an area of 7 thousand square meters, and invested 60 million yuan in the initial stage.

It is co sponsored by AOKANG group and China's leather and footwear industry research institute, which is the only comprehensive national research institute of leather and footwear industry in China.

Compared with R & D institutions formed by other single projects in the past, the AOKANG footwear technology research institute mainly focuses on R & D of technology products, covering soft science contents such as new materials, new product research and development, new technology, new technology popularization and application, standardization engineering, intellectual property protection, fashion research, and industrial development law research.

The research results will also provide products and services to the whole industry at the same time.

"The current research institutes will make major breakthroughs in product standardization, style, fashion and intellectual property protection."

Wang Zhenquan, the president of AOKANG footwear technology research institute and vice president of AOKANG group, said that under the guidance of comfort, safety, hygiene and environmental protection, energy saving, emission reduction and recycling will also be the focus of development.

The research scope of the Institute covers materials science, chemistry, human biomechanics, medicine, arts and crafts, applied psychology, and combines the qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis with the combination of empirical analysis and regional experiments, combined with comprehensive research and thematic research, to conduct a comprehensive and in-depth study and positioning of AOKANG footwear products and raw materials.

In 2006, AOKANG invested about 3000000 yuan to cooperate with Zhejiang University to develop China's first foot type measuring instrument with independent intellectual property rights.

From the experience of AOKANG exporting and responding to anti-dumping, Chinese brands must realize qualitative change from "made in China" to "Chinese design" and then to "create in China".
