Italy Clothing, Shoes And Hats And Other Retail Businesses Have Shrunk Sharply.
According to the latest statistics released by the Italy National Bureau of statistics, the retail trade index in Italy has shrunk by 0.3% in August 2011. From all industries, only a small number of products such as food have increased in retail sales, while retail sales in such industries as clothing, shoes, hats, electronic products and furniture have been greatly reduced.
Lack of market confidence is the main reason for this contraction.
