The New 10 Years Of China'S Textile And Garment Industry: The Whole Industry Chain Needs To Be Integrated And Innovating Together.
According to the data released by the General Administration of customs, China's textile and apparel exports in September amounted to 22 billion 981 million US dollars, a decrease of 9.7% compared with the same period, of which 7 billion 948 million US dollars in textile exports, 5% in the annulus, and 15 billion 33 million US dollars in clothing and accessories exports, down 12%.
The United States, Japan and the European Union are the main export places of textiles and clothing in China.
At the 110th Canton Fair that just concluded, the number of European and American customers dropped sharply, and the order of small and medium-sized enterprises was shrinking. The Canton Fair also highlighted the grim situation of foreign trade from another angle.
At the same time, domestic consumption did not appear to be better than expected, and overall demand showed signs of slowing down.
In September, the volume of retail sales of all kinds of garments in 100 major large retail enterprises decreased by 1.98% compared with the same period last year, the first time in recent months.
At the first China clothing conference hosted by the China Clothing Association recently, Du Yuzhou, President of the China Textile Industry Association and President of the China clothing association, pointed out that the goal of China's garment industry changing from "big" to "strong" has gone through 10 years. In order to cope with the new situation changes, speed up the upgrading of industrial pformation and set up a modern industrial chain integrated innovation system, it is imperative.
The situation is more severe than 2008.
"This year's situation may be even more difficult than the 2008 financial crisis."
Chen Dapeng, executive vice president of the China clothing association, pointed out at the meeting that the development of the industry is facing many difficulties and problems this year. The overall international market demand has been sluggish, the RMB has continued to appreciate, the cost of production factors such as domestic labor force is also rising, and the price of raw materials fluctuates greatly; domestic monetary policy has caused a shortage of credit resources for enterprises, and inflation has also greatly inhibited consumption.
"Despite such a complex environment, faced with so many problems, the industry has made relatively good progress in general."
Chen Dapeng said.
According to the data released by the Ministry of industry and information in October 28th, 1~9 months, China's textile enterprises above Designated Size realized a total industrial output value of 39558 billion yuan, an increase of 29% over the same period last year, and the growth rate dropped 1 percentage points from the first half of this year.
Among them, clothing production 18 billion 300 million, an increase of 9.5% over the same period, the growth rate dropped 3 percentage points compared with the first half.
In 1~8 months, the apparel industry realized a profit of 41 billion yuan, up 41.4% from the same period last year, 5 percentage points higher than the average level of the whole industry.
While production grew steadily, domestic demand and exports also maintained a relatively fast growth rate.
According to the Ministry of industry and information technology, 1~9, retail sales of clothing, shoes, hat and knitted textiles exceeded 545 billion yuan, an increase of 24.8% over the same period last year, and the growth rate increased by 0.8 percentage points over the same period.
Textile and garment exports increased by 186 billion 100 million US dollars, an increase of 24.3% over the same period last year, and the growth rate was 1.1 percentage points higher than the same period last year.
Among them, clothing exports 115 billion 200 million US dollars, an increase of 23.3% over the same period, and the growth rate increased by 4.3 percentage points over the same period last year.
Chen Dapeng pointed out that from the data, we can see that the mainstream of the clothing industry development is good, and these data show some benign changes in the garment industry. At the same time, many small and medium enterprises, especially the export oriented SMEs, are facing great difficulties and even survival difficulties.
But in general, because the clothing industry is a highly market-oriented industry, facing the changes and difficulties of the environment, the industry has driven the market as the driving force, accelerating the pace of pformation and upgrading. Clothing enterprises continue to seek development through exploration and innovation. The whole industry shows the trend of regional layout adjustment, product structure optimization and brand operation.
"The garment industry is constantly innovating in terms of technological progress, design and research and development, business models, capital operation, resource integration, international cooperation and so on, and has made many achievements.
And the overall development of the industry and the values of the industry are developing towards a more scientific direction.
Chen Dapeng said.
