    AOKANG Names The 2011 Leather Creative Design Competition Of China Shoes City

    AOKANG Name Leather Creativity

    "AOKANG Cup" China shoes all 2011 leather Creative Design Competition preliminary contest, held in AOKANG North International Industrial Park.

    Nearly 1000 entries from social footwear design institutes, design institutes and many Chinese shoemaking enterprises compete.

    After the jury selection, the 50 works, such as "thorn flower" and "rebirth", won the final in terms of creativity, practical function, market potential and artistry.


    The design competition is sponsored by Wenzhou shoe leather industry association, and is hosted by AOKANG shoe Limited by Share Ltd, Zhejiang.

    The design competition has been responded by many schools with leather design major. Shaanxi University of Science and Technology, Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology, Wenzhou University, Zhejiang Industry and Trade Vocational College, Guangdong Baiyun Technical College, and dozens of colleges and universities organized students to participate in the contest.

    The expert jury is composed of 9 experts, including Lin Jinyou, Deputy Secretary General of Wenzhou shoe leather industry association, President Li canal of Wenzhou University, President of Wenzhou University, and Sha Minsheng, senior designer of national footwear. Li Yunhe is the leader of the jury.


    Xie Rongfang, vice chairman of the China Leather Association and executive chairman of Wenzhou shoe leather industry association, said yesterday that the shoe industry association of Wenzhou was set up 20th anniversary this year. In the past 20 years, Wenzhou footwear industry has made outstanding contributions to the economic development of China and the world's footwear industry.

    But in the long run, there is still a certain gap between the Chinese footwear industry and the old shoe makers in Italy and Spain.

    The purpose of such a competition is to promote the culture of Chinese shoes and shoemaking, inherit the experience of shoemaking, encourage enterprises to innovate, and find out and train a large number of high level design talents in the industry, with the power of design to boost the growth and development of national brands.


    The finalists decided in this preliminary contest will produce the finished shoe samples from the AOKANG shoe industry according to the whole design plan, and then review the semi-finals.

    In this competition, there were two gold medals, three silver medals and two bronze medals.

    There are also five single awards, namely, the best creative concept award, the most market potential award, the most practical function award, the best technology award and the most visual value award.
