Wenzhou Ouhai Shoe Leather Association And Other Trade Associations Formulate Self-Discipline Convention

From the Wenzhou Quality Supervision Bureau, Ouhai district has 14 kinds of trade associations, including the food and Beverage Association, the spectacles Association, the shoe leather association and so on. After the national product quality and food safety special rectification action has been carried out nationwide, various trade associations have responded positively, and have formulated the industry self-discipline convention according to their own characteristics.

The Convention clearly stated that it is necessary to consciously maintain the market order of the industry, strictly abide by relevant laws and regulations, and achieve lawful production and lawful operation, ensure that the quality of products meets the requirements of the relevant national product standards, ensure timely recall of products that may endanger personal and property safety, ensure that products are not produced with inferior raw materials, and do not compete in the vicious market with low price products.

After formulating the industry self-regulation convention, various trade associations conduct propaganda and promotion through various means, and adopt such methods as publishing in industrial meetings, publishing newspapers and periodicals in industries, and promoting pilot projects in key enterprises, so that all member enterprises can truly understand and implement the Convention on self-discipline.
