Ningbo Wanhua Annual Output Of 360 Thousand Tons Of Aniline Device Started Design

In December 5th, Yantai Wanhua Polyurethane Co., Ltd., controlled by Wanhua polyurethane Limited by Share Ltd, held a signing ceremony with the second Design Institute of the chemical industry on the design contract of nitrobenzene, aniline and nitric acid engineering.

The construction of Wanhua 360 thousand tons / year aniline plant in Ningbo started.

It is reported that the aniline plant will be the world's most advanced adiabatic nitrification process design, compared with the traditional isothermal nitrification process, with the advantages of high safety, small size, low energy consumption, stable operation, easy control, long online time and so on.

The second plant of the chemical plant is the 150 thousand ton / year aniline production plant designed by Tianji Group. It was successfully driven in September 2005 and is the largest device in operation in China.

The aniline plant jointly constructed by the two plants and Ningbo Wanhua strong will become the largest aniline production plant in China.

According to statistics, in consumption composition, 80% aniline is used to produce MDI.

After the pformation of Wanhua MDI plant in Ningbo and the completion of the two phase MDI plant, plus the Yantai Wanhua MDI plant, the annual capacity will reach 600 thousand tons, and the annual demand for aniline will be 460 thousand tons.

The construction of the aniline plant will effectively relieve the pressure of aniline feedstock needed for the production of MDI.
