Nike Expects 2015 Sales Of Shoes And Clothing In China To Reach US $4 Billion.
Blair, chief financial officer of Nike (Nike), the world's largest sports footwear manufacturer, said in a recent interview that Nike has set a sales target for China, which expects sales in 2015 to reach US $4 billion.
But to achieve this goal, Nike must change the Chinese exercise and leisure sports habits.
Don Blair said: "China is one of the most populous countries. They are starting to focus on sports, but they are not yet participants."
According to data from a market research firm, Nike's sales in China last year were 2 billion 100 million dollars.
In the first quarter of August 31st this year, its sales in China amounted to $528 million.
According to relevant reports, Nike, located in Oregon, is planning to set up stores in China to focus on Chinese sports stars, such as the French Open champion Li Na.
The report also said Nike sells products in 7500 outlets in China, hoping to have a close relationship with China's track and field star Liu Xiang, helping its sales of track and field and sports tools increase.
Nike is also planning to organize a skiing campaign around Beijing next year to promote skiwear. Skiing is becoming more and more popular every winter Olympic Games.
