The auction was held by Aguttes, a French auction house, on Wednesday at Hotel des Ventes de Neuilly, Paris.
Some of the shoes of this series have been exhibited at Musee Romans, and most of the shoes will be returned to the museum and placed in the independent exhibition hall of Roger Vivier.
