    The samples were commissioned by the metrological quality inspection and Research Institute of Shenzhen. According to the national mandatory standards and relevant product implementation standards, the indexes of decomposable carcinogenic aromatic amine dyes, formaldehyde content, pH value, fiber content, color fastness, extractable heavy metals, phenol compounds, o-phthalic acid two formic acid, and identification were tested.

    The result of this comparison test is only responsible for the test samples, and does not represent the quality of other brands and batches of the brand.


    The results showed that 60 samples did not detect formaldehyde and decomposable aromatic amine dyes which seriously harm consumers' health. Among them, 56 samples passed all the tests, and 4 samples failed to pass the pH value and color fastness project. The four samples were brand name: CONVERSE, Columbia (Columbia) and LOTTO (Lotto).

    Among them, the Nanjing border town sporting goods Co., Ltd. produces the CONVERSE (CONVERSE) hooding zipper sweater (model / number C311W206123) with the pH value exceeding the standard, which is produced by the women's three wear assault clothing (model / number GS112518) and Shanghai doer Knitting Co., Ltd.

    Jian Bang garment (Huizhou) Co., Ltd. Columbia (Columbia) brand trousers (model / number PM8843) and Foshan Qinshun Knitting Co., Ltd. produced LOTTO (LOTTO) Club Series / head dress (model / number EWDF095-3) are color fastness does not meet the standard requirements.


    It is reported that dye fastness itself is not a toxic factor, but once pferred to the human skin, it may cause harm to the human body.

    When the clothes with poor color fastness meet with water, sweat or saliva, the pigments are easy to fall off and fade. The dye molecules and heavy metal ions in the pigment may be absorbed by the skin and harm the health.


     

    Excessive pH is easy to cause skin itching.


    What is the pH value of clothing? What harm does pH value have to human body?


    The municipal consumer protection committee introduced that pH value refers to the size of water extraction acid and alkali on textile products, and it is the safety index of textiles. The larger pH value is alkaline, the smaller the pH value is, the neutral pH value is 7.5, and the pH value of ordinary textiles is neutral to weak acid.

    If you wear clothing with a pH exceeding standard, it can easily cause skin itching and other inflammation.


    According to the national basic safety technical specification for textile products (GB18401-2010), clothing products are divided into three categories: A, B and C. Class a products refer to infant clothing, B products refer to clothes that are directly exposed to skin, and C products are clothes that do not directly contact the skin.

    Among them, the pH value of class a clothing is 4 to 7.5, the pH value of B products is 4 to 8.5, and the pH value of C products ranges from 4 to 9.
