Wenzhou Shoe Leather Industry Association Held The 20Th Anniversary Celebration

In December 8th, the six session of the Wenzhou shoe leather industry association was held and the 20th anniversary celebration was held.

Since 2006, the overall economic operation of the shoe leather industry in Wenzhou has maintained a good momentum. The total industrial output value has reached 56 billion yuan, 60 billion yuan, 65 billion 200 million yuan, 70 billion yuan and 78 billion yuan respectively.

The total industrial output value of Enterprises above Designated Size also increased from 38 billion 300 million yuan in 2006 to 55 billion 841 million yuan in 2010.

In the first three quarters of 2011, 581 enterprises of all sectors above Designated Size had finished 38 billion 28 million yuan of industrial output value, up 11.1% over the same period last year.

The tax revenue of the whole industry increased from 1 billion 600 million yuan in 2006 to 2 billion 46 million yuan in 2010, ranking the top in sixteen characteristic industries.

In the first three quarters of 2011, the tax revenue of the whole industry has reached 1 billion 841 million yuan, and the industrial advantage of China's shoe capital is evident here.

With the support of all member units, the five Council of the shoe and leather industry association of Wenzhou has persisted in its aim of organization, service and coordination. It has continuously strengthened its own construction, improved its service consciousness, built up a communication bridge, and endeavours to create a good environment for the development of the shoe leather industry, and has done a lot of fruitful work in promoting the healthy and sustainable development of the industry.

The association has been appraised as an advanced industry association by the municipal government for many years. In 2009, it was awarded the "5A" class social organization by the Wenzhou Municipal Bureau of civil affairs. It was appraised as the "advanced local association" by the China Leather Association. It was awarded the "national advanced social organization" by the Ministry of civil affairs of China and was awarded the "national advanced social organization" by the Wenzhou municipal Party Committee Propaganda Department.

In 2010, the association was invited to attend the first national industry association reform and development experience exchange conference held by the Ministry of civil affairs. It is the only trade association in the city that has been invited to participate in written communication. It has jointly advocated the "social responsibility of industry associations" with 115 industry associations such as China Federation of industrial economics.

The work done by the association has been highly recognized by many departments.

Zheng Xiukang reviewed the work of the Association for five years in the report of the five Council.

The association is mainly engaged in strengthening its own construction, improving its service level, safeguarding the interests of the industry, promoting the steady development of the industry, carrying out various training and competitions, deepening the awareness of talent brand, promoting regional brand building, upgrading the image of China's shoe capital, developing domestic and foreign markets, and promoting the pformation and upgrading of industries.

The General Assembly elected the six Council through ballot of members.

Finally, Zheng Xiukang was elected president of the six Council for a high vote. Xie Rongfang was elected the executive chairman of the six Executive Council, and vice president and secretary general also came into being.

R & D center will be built to lead industry pformation and upgrading.

After the election, President Zheng Xiukang pointed out in his speech that achievements are always in the past, and challenges are in sight and in the future.

At present, the economic situation is complex and changeable, and the constraints of all factors are increasing and competition is intensifying. The footwear industry in Wenzhou is facing unprecedented challenges.

But there is always a chance for the crisis to take a step forward. As long as all parties work hand in hand and win confidence, the footwear industry in Wenzhou will certainly be able to rush out of the tight encirclement and usher in a new development spring.

In the next five years, the six Council must uphold the service aim of the association, fully implement Scientific Outlook on Development, adhere to the principle of sustainable development, grasp the development opportunities, give full play to the advantages of traditional industries, and accelerate the pformation and upgrading of industries.

We must stick to the faith, unite and work together, keep a healthy development of the industry, and strive for the realization of the Wenzhou shoe industry.

At the meeting, the six Council's work tasks and work plan for 2012 were also released.

Strikingly, the association will set up an international R & D Center for China's footwear export base, which is designed to integrate regional design power, design resources at home and abroad, design and research from raw materials to finished products, and create a comprehensive public platform integrating technology research and development, fashion design, brand planning, information consultation, exhibition, intellectual property services, education and training.

Provide scientific and technological project services for enterprises, provide platform services for the market docking of design research and manufacturing industry, and provide support for the coordinated development and upgrading of footwear design and footwear manufacturing.

The center takes technology footwear as the core, leading the pformation and upgrading of Wenzhou footwear industry, and gradually facing the whole country, providing scientific and technological R & D services for footwear enterprises.
