Spot checks showed that 9 samples of cement, shoes and knitted underwear produced by 721 enterprises in Guangdong province were sampled in 851 batches.

After examination, 721 batches were qualified, and the qualified rate of the sample batches was 84.7%.

Among them, 70 batches of knitted underwear products produced by 68 enterprises in 8 regions, such as Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Dongguan, were selected.

After inspection, 43 batches were qualified, the qualified rate of the sample batches was 61.4%, 5 batches of unqualified products were identified, and the qualified rate of the products was 68.6%.

In addition, 6 of the unqualified products being sampled were from Dongguan.

Among them, Dongguan yingzi Garments Co., Ltd. was sampled in March 2011, produced by the "love Lisa" bra and Dongguan AI Rudge Underwear Co., Ltd. was sampled in August 2010 to produce the "Ai Rudge" bra, because the product instructions were not qualified and hit the blacklist.

Guangdong Quality Supervision Bureau said that the spot checks on knitted underwear products identification, formaldehyde content, pH value and other 9 items were tested and determined, the unqualified items include fiber content, identification, color fastness, pH value.

Among them, 17 batches of products had fiber content which did not meet the standard requirements, that is, the content of false labeled fiber, accounting for 77% of the total number of products.

There are three main manifestations of the false mark. First, the measured fiber content is not consistent with the marked value, such as "nylon (87 + 5)%, spandex 13%". The measured results are "nylon 66.6%, spandex 33.4%". Two, the measured fibers are not consistent with the names of the fiber components, such as "nylon 100%", and the measured result is "polyester fiber 100%".

In addition, some batches of products have no fiber content identification.

Quality Supervision Department said that fiber content is important for determining the performance of clothing.

The quality supervision department has ordered the disqualified production enterprises to stop production and sale of substandard products immediately from the date of receipt of the inspection report, conduct a comprehensive clearance of the unqualified products in stock, and require the enterprises to quickly get off the shelves when the factory or sales of substandard products are issued, and organize the recall, and report the situation to the departments responsible for post processing in writing.
