Coach Listing In Hongkong Accelerates Expansion In Asia
Coach, a high-end leather goods manufacturer in the United States, was listed on the Hongkong stock exchange in December 1st. The company hopes to expand its Asian customers and seek new profit growth points.

The company said the move shows the importance of Coach to Asia and its position as a business centre.
This is followed by the successful listing of Italy fashion brand Prada (Prada) and suitcase maker Samsonite (Samsonite) in Hongkong. Another major international brand is listed in Hongkong.
Coach said that the issue of 293 million 600 thousand shares of Hongkong pre deposited shares (also known as certificates of deposit receipts or stock certificates) refers to negotiable certificates representing negotiable securities of foreign companies circulating in a country's securities market, which is a financial derivative instrument in the scope of corporate financing business, accounting for 1/10 of Coach's total capital stock in New York, and shareholders will be paid dividends as well as the company's current owners.
The way of pre depository shares can enable companies that have publicly traded in any other country to re appear in Hongkong.
The company's stakeholders said that China is the most promising Coach in the future.

Like other luxury brands, Coach aims at China's new affluent consumers, and says it plans to open 30 new stores in China next year.
"Considering China's market size, growth rate and the popularity of its brand, China is our biggest growth market," the company said.
Coach also said consumers in North America and Japan remain cautious.
According to Bain's survey, the demand for luxury goods in China increased by 35% in 2011, while Chinese luxury goods accounted for more than 20% of the global market.
At present, Coach has 745 stores and sales outlets worldwide, mainly in North America.

There are 171 stores, and currently China has 71 stores.
Coach, founded in 1941 in Manhattan, USA, is famous for its handbags. The most notable feature is the geometric alphabet of symbolic design.
Sitoy Group, one of its largest suppliers in China, will follow Coach's listing in Hongkong.
